Yes, Gary’s a very energetic speaker. He also has ‘cred’ because he’s actually a success in his chosen field… even though he explained to Sarah Meyers that his field was chosen FOR him:
He has a different approach from people trying to bootstrap and make something out of nothing, so there’s a lot to learn from him about how things might be when you “make it”.
Sometimes, you have to achieve a goal to find out that a different goal is actually more worthwhile.
