Election day is tomorrow… November 04, 2008. Make sure you get out and vote for the candidate of your choice. If you don’t choose the next President of the United States of America, somebody else will choose him FOR you.

Make sure you feel good about yourself for the next four years by letting your voice be HEARD tomorrow in the voting booth. Be a DECIDER! VOTE! :D

  3. [...] Bill is a good friend of mine and he’s joining me in making a video every weekday in November. His series is called “Rock Star” and he’s starting out with this video: Women Love Voters! [...]

This video ruled dude. If I was American, I’d vote because of this video.

Actually, my lady convinced me to vote here in Canada (not as world-changing as US Presidential elections, but it’s a vote).

Without getting into politics, an alternate party could have been handed a few more seats in the house if they had 78 more votes.

78 people. That’s when ONE vote really does become relevant!

I hope to see many Americans vote today and look forward to seeing the results tonight over here in Canada!

ACK! Sorry I’m commenting so late on this, dude! :D

    Thanks, Nuno! :D

Yeah, it’s important to decide which team gets to do stuff for the next few years, but from my standpoint, now that it’s over, and Obama won HANDILY, I’ve already noticed a change among people.

Briefly, the change is that people have been reinvigorated because they flipped that lever in the booth, and people flipped that lever down the block and in the next town and in the next city and in the next state, and TOGETHER, we selected the next President of The United States!

Ever since that day, people have been striking up conversations with me just so they can share their GLEE that “we did it”. For once, people feel like they were part of the process and had SAY instead of people rigging elections and stealing votes and not counting people’s votes.

This was MAINLY because of Social Media. Social Media / The Internet got the vote out and then monitored situations to make sure there were as few shenanigans as possible. SM also blasted all over the world every time a candidate did or said something COMPLETELY RETARDED, so the choice became clear in many people’s minds, and the people SPOKE and were HEARD!

I still can’t really grasp it fully, but it’s amazing. It’s really incredible. Even before the swearing-in, I’ve already seen a change. :)

No probs of delay dude! I’m glad to see how it all turned out as well north of the border. I also think that social media and the web had a tremendous, stupendous, absolutely, momentous, spectaculous effect of the voting movement across the States this time around.

I also feel the same energy across the web and media in general so I can imagine it’s enhanced when living in the States surrounded by much more of the politics than we are here in Canada.

    Congrats!! For hope!
