I was never a fan of those wrist wraps, they seemed too &quot;focused&quot;. When you use towels, the pressure&#039;s distributed throughout the material instead of just in that inch-wide strip of the wrap.  It feels fine.  There&#039;s no pressure almost anywhere.

I&#039;ve seen guys use wraps for pull-ups as well.  I&#039;m like &quot;meh :/&quot; about that.  If you can&#039;t hold your own weight up, you can&#039;t.  That&#039;s different from trying to do an exercise where your traps can actually lift more than your hands can hold.

Like I said, eventually, I&#039;ll move to the machines where you load the plates, they have foam grips and you don&#039;t have to worry about dropping 100 lb dumbbells when you can&#039;t hold them anymore haha.</description>

Good call on number 5.  Isolate those tri&#039;s.
The problem I had with wrist wraps is that eventually I would develop a chronic tendon inflamation issue in my right wrist.</description>
