Yeah! :D That's ANOTHER CLASSIC!!! :D

If you don't get to hear about her being "spoken for", you have to hear about what HER GIRLFRIEND THINKS about her current mental & emotional state. It's like the chick put out a press release, and your friend is her PR agent.

Nobody cares. Nobody cares. Nobody cares.

If we cared about YOUR ASSESSMENT of someone else's situation, we would *ASK* *YOU* for your opinion.

You're also right that it's a trust issue. A lot of chicks want to do their best to make sure their stupid-ass girlfriend doesn't ACCIDENTALLY GIVE IT UP to some guy. :D Their easy-to-lay homegirl needs to be shielded from this guy, who's going to trick her out of sex... trick her INTO sex?... Anyway.. Nobody cares whether you trust ME, and if you don't trust your girl to do what she wants with her own body as a consenting adult, then you need to get better friends.

Are you getting PAID to babysit her? Does she know she's like, your DAUGHTER and not your peer? Does she know you think she's easy? Does she know you think her word to her "boyfriend" means nothing at all?

Now that I'm thinking about this topic, chicks probably do this to guys as well. This is why you should NEVER update your Facebook relationship status. Leave it on SINGLE so that next time some chick you know has a girlfriend that wants to meet you, you don't get CBed by that chick blabbing about your personal business before you even get to tell the chick that likes you "Hello".

TELL me about it! :D

I wouldn't have an issue with this if it only happened TO ME, and it only happened with chicks that already knew me and what I'm planning to do, haha.

The problem is that it's like an automatic switch. Not knowing anything about the guy or his intentions, chicks just VOLUNTEER this information, as if the question they were asked had been "Is that girl single?". So you're right... They're skipping the "Her name is ____" or "She's a videoblogger" or "She's a Rocket Scientist and speaks 5 languages" to go right to his next question, "Is she single?" and eventually "Can you hook a brotha UP? :D".

Unfortunately, that's demeaning to their own homegirls. She's reducing the gal to whatever SHE thinks the guy wants. She's also treating her girlfriend like a small baby by not letting her handle her own business. Pay attention & answer the question... or say "I don't know" or "I don't want to tell you".

EVEN adding information we never asked y'all about AFTER THE FACT would be acceptable. "Her name is Jane.... AND she has a boyfriend". At least that way, we got what we asked you for.

Maybe it's also an issue of the chicks not wanting to become accessories before the fact. Maybe they feel like if they respond properly, they're going to be blamed by their girlfriend down the line for whatever happens. As long as they blurt out "SHE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND", they can't be held responsible by their girl if the guy ends up kicking it to her.

Either way, it's really retarded, and it's amazing to me how many chicks come directly from the factory with this programming pre-installed. :D

Since "men only want thing", they're just skipping the redundant step in the interest of efficiency.
