So I’m having a discussion with reader “Ryan” about whether certain aspects of the rap industry are fake or whether rap is “real” theater..

I’m making a point about how kids listen to rap music written by wealthy guys who live in mansions and who also happen to be movie and television stars, yet they write about bussin’ gats and being on the corner all the time.. where you never see them unless it’s a music video shoot location and their off-duty-cop bodyguards are standing right next to them with vests on and carrying licensed weapons……

And somehow, I was reminded of the makeup industry.

Cute = Good

Amongst other curvy aspects of the female form, I like cute girls (women, gals, whatever y’all like to call yourselves). I like girls that I enjoy looking at ‘fresh out the box’.

Maybe that’s natural, maybe I picked it up during college. I went to school with a bunch of brainiac chicks, so the time that would have been spent on hooking up their hair and doing makeup was spent STUDYING, EATING and SLEEPING.

When I’d roll up to that 8:30am class, there they were, in whatever they happened to throw on in between the time that they woke up and when they arrived at the classroom. Flannel shirts, sweatpants, boots or sneakers, jeans, hair approximately the way it looked when they rolled out of bed.

Lovely! :D

On the weekends, of course, it was a different story, as they had to get themselves Jiggy-Fresh to go shopping downtown and go to parties in the evenings.

This makes sense to me because everybody wants to put their best foot forward when they go out socializing. You never know who you’re going to meet that you might like to kick it with and you never know when there are going to be photo ops.

What *DOESN’T* make sense is how the industry’s brainwashed some of y’all chicks into falling for the Okey-Doke. I know some chicks that look perfectly cute as-is, yet they swear they look HORRIBLE until they draw something on their faces.

Don’t get me wrong… There are lots of horrible-looking women. :D

What I’m saying is that it’s strange and fascinating to see gals that have ZERO confidence in their looks before putting on makeup and then feel like life is grand after they hook their grills up.

Types Of Addicts

There are two types of makeup addicts.

There are some women that spend their time putting on makeup and then when they ask you how their makeup looks, you’re like “You put on makeup? o_O”.

Of course.. You don’t actually want to SAY that, just like you don’t want to compliment a woman by comparing her clothing selection to a donut. Instead, just be prepared to say “You look fine, dear”.

That should end the conversation, but just in case it doesn’t.. If she asks you what you like about how she did her makeup, say “It makes me focus on your eyes more”.

Women dig corny lines like that.

The other type of makeup junkie is the chick that looks like a totally different person after she, quite literally, “puts her face on”.

Like, you wouldn’t be able to pick her out in a lineup if she committed a crime with her makeup on and then you saw her at the precinct without it.

That doesn’t necessarily mean she’s facially unattractive without her makeup on, just that she looks like someone else, entirely.

I’m guessing the effect would be similar to seeing Snooki in whatever natural color her skin actually is, instead of Jersey Spray-Tan Orange.

I mean.. I suppose there isn’t anything wrong with looking like you came to the supermarket directly from the nightclub, or as Gail from Jerseylicious would put it.. the “Disco” (hehehe), but I can’t imagine that consistently having your face covered in paint would be good for your skin, or your overall health.

What Can We Say?

Whether the gal in question’s face changed dramatically or didn’t change at all, you can’t afford to say that she looks BETTER now that she did her makeup. You don’t want her to become even MORE self-conscious about her grill, thinking that you don’t like how she looks unless she’s made up.

Some gals take it so far that they attempt to NEVER be seen by a guy unless they have their makeup on. Again.. This is a smart tactic for SOME women, :D but a lot of them that don’t actually need makeup went out like this as well.

So you can’t say she looks the same (you didn’t notice that she had makeup on) and you can’t say she looks better, so that only leaves “worse”.

Whether or not you tell a woman she looks worse with her makeup done depends on which is more important to you.. your public image or getting laid.

Personally, I stick with “public image”. You can always find more chicks that are DTF, but you might never live down that one Facebook picture you took with the ridiculous-looking chick that painted her face all different colors like a circus clown.

That’s why it’s better to just say “Nah, Nah.. You look ridiculous. Go back and try again.” and let the chips fall where they may.

If she doesn’t want to go out with you, that’s good.. She can go embarrass someone else tonight, and your rep remains intact.

If she’s smart, she’ll recognize you as an authority as far as knowing when women look good and when they look ridiculous and she’ll go back to the drawing board, feeling appreciative that you did her that solid of not letting her embarrass herself in public (and YOU in the process).

This also applies to when y’all are already out on the town and those black circles they like to paint around their eyes begin to devolve into something resembling a raccoon.

It’s better for you to let her know she’s not on-point than to let her get caught slippin’ on the paparazzi tip.

By The Way.. This goes for her hair as well.

If it looks like she’s carrying her dog on her head instead of in a bag (I know that sounds stupid, but for some odd reason, women in NYC buy dogs and then carry them around in bags. I don’t understand this either, \o/. It just makes more sense at this point in time to say “instead of in a bag” than “instead of walking it on a leash”), it’s better to let her know instead of handing the fellaz free tickets to tell jokes about how you’re dating Peg Bundy all night long.

How Can We Help?

It’s very tough to help women that have fallen for the Makeup Okey-Doke. The problem is that they think they know what they look like better than you do, or perhaps, they think they know what looks good better than you do.

It would seem that the obvious way to assist in their eventual & gradual recovery would be to find times when they definitely don’t have makeup on and tell them they look pretty. Unfortunately, instead of going “He knows what he’s talking about, so I’ll graciously accept his compliment! :D”, they go “Damn.. I thought he had better taste in women! :/”.

Since they already know FOR SURE that they look busted without their makeup, it’s obvious to them that YOU don’t know what you’re talking about.

Maybe you could arrange a field trip… If you know your girl is cute and she’s wasting her money on makeup (as well as valuable time that y’all could be hooking up), figure out a way to get her to come with you, somewhere… ANYWHERE!… without wearing her makeup the entire day. Make sure it’s a location that has lots of people, like a shopping complex of outlet stores, or maybe a beach or public pool (don’t get *IN* that water, though! HAHA). The more she interacts with people and notices that they’re being pleasant towards her without recoiling in horror upon laying eyes on her natural grill, maybe she’ll get the picture and start easing up on the unnecessary war paint.

This stuff is really deeply ingrained, and I really don’t have any clues about what to do, other than taking pictures and then showing them how they look.. which they should have seen already, because they were using a MIRROR to do their makeup. All I know is that some of y’all gals CLEARLY don’t need makeup and are very nice to look at, as-is, just rolled out of bed, fell off the turnip truck, just finished doing yoga or pilates, whatever.

Try giving yourselves a break, and if you can’t do that, try reaching out to one of your sistahs in need. Tell her “Nah.. Nah… Put that brush down. You don’t need that. You’re pretty already! :D”.

Best-Case Scenario, you’ll help out a friend and feel better about yourself as a person. :)

Worst-Case Scenario, you’ll get the rap to some fly guy because you had makeup on and she didn’t. ;)

So.. Like, every day, guys have to hear stuff like “I’m not a piece of meat” and “I want him to like me for me”, which doesn’t make any sense, because a woman’s looks are a PART of her “me”, so if a guy likes you for your looks or your body, stop trying to dismiss that like it doesn’t count for anything.

Having said that.. If a guy DOESN’T think you’re cute and/or your body ISN’T sexually inspirational to him and he dates you anyway, you might just have a long-term boyfriend on your hands…

Long Term Relationships

Attractive women are at a SEVERE DISADVANTAGE when it comes to LTRs, because they’re not going to look like that forever. ‘Matter of fact, I’ve met gals that looked completely different six months after I met them, so women that get the rap based on how they currently look have a tough row to hoe. If they cease to maintain their looks, dude might be outtahere like Belvedere.

That’s why I find these television shows really funny where chicks run around giving themselves props for their looks. Good Luck with that. :) It’s these same chicks that roam the subway stations looking like confused zombies once their looks are gone and they become has-beens and actually have to depend on their underdeveloped personalities to make friends and influence people.

Personality Development

Unattractive women have it way better. :) Their personalities are way more developed because guys don’t approach them for sex so the conversations are completely different. Guys make plans to get together with unattractive gals to watch the Yankee game and actually WATCH the Yankee game! :D It wasn’t just a ploy to get her alone so they could hit it.

If a guy ends up attracted to her, it’s for traits that are way less fleeting than looks. She’s likely to be just as cool as she is today next year. She’s likely to be just as intelligent and witty next year. She’s likely to be just as caring and attentive as she is right now for years to come. Meanwhile.. Women who got the rap for their looks are in peril of losing their man to the next better-looking female that comes along. Guys that date for looks are notorious for trading chicks in for the newer, hawter model like happens with cars.

Ease Of Maintenance

Another benefit to unattractive women is that nobody else is trying to kick it to them. :) You don’t have to work so hard to maintain your relationship with her because there aren’t guys lined up around the block trying to steal your girl.

I remember one time, this friend of mine started dating this girl and we all laughed our asses off about it because she was clearly busted, except the problem was that we hadn’t realized that she always dresses down. Months later, we saw her actual body and we were like “HOLY ****!!! :O”. We were like NO WONDER he had hooked up with her and he was suddenly heralded as a gold miner instead of a fool with zero taste in women. The point is that my friend was living on Easy Street because HE knew what was under the hood and nobody else did.

Trickle-Down Theory

Unattractive women don’t have to work as hard to meet men. This is because attractive women will bring them out partying so they can perform the duties of the DUFF, which is similar to a wingman, but not really. The DUFF’s job is to step in and cockblock when she sees that a guy’s trying to lay the attractive chick. The second part of the DUFF’s job is to make the attractive chick look even hotter, merely by standing next to her.

The DUFF’s payoff for performing her duties is that she gets all of the trickle-down.. The guys that didn’t get the rap to the attractive chick and are willing to settle for less or attempt to back-door the situation by making friends with the DUFF, getting her number and getting invited out for another shot at the attractive chick in the near future. Basically, by being “The Woman Next To THE WOMAN”, the unattractive woman gains access to hundreds of guys that would never have spoken to her at all, had she gone to that same bar by herself.

An added benefit to the trickle-down is that in most cases, the DUFF actually has a STELLAR personality compared to the attractive chick. Hawt chicks get hit on all day, every day and it gets on their nerves and causes them to react in a “Let Them Eat Cake!” fashion when a guy steps to them and tells them how beautiful they are for the 20th time since they walked into the club. A lot of guys are tired as hell of this and when they accidentally get deflected to the DUFF, they realize that she’s actually much cooler, smarter and much better company than the chick they meant to kick it to. This is why a lot of insanely attractive women are dumbfounded about how come they don’t get as many relationship offers as women who clearly rolled out of bed just before coming to the party.

Random Advantages

If she’s so inclined, it’s easier for unattractive women to cheat. This is because nobody would believe that someone actually hit it other than the dude that was “desperate enough” to date her in the first place. When she claims she was at home eating Häagen-Dazs, no questions are asked, even though she had actually been at the club all night shaking her ass, making out and getting numbers.

Unattractive women are also more likely to give unattractive guys a chance to date them. This means that they’re selecting from a much larger pool of men and are way more likely to hook up with someone that is actually SINCERE about wanting her to be his boyfriend. Attractive women are busy being selective and trying to date the most attractive, richest, most popular guys… which means they’re way more likely to get used and dumped, because there’s no reason that guys like that should settle for one chick. All guys SOUND sincere when we’re trying to get laid. It’s just not true, though. Unattractive guys can promise the moon and the stars to attractive gals and get no dap. No light. Nada. After enough crashing & burning, guys start to want something real and lower their visual standards while raising their personality standards. This is where unattractive chicks clean up. :D

Unattractive women look the same in the morning………

I wouldn’t be surprised if unattractive chicks have more kids on average, being that their boyfriends/husbands aren’t worried about potentially messing up her stellar physique. Dunno. \o/

Anyway… You can see the myriad advantages that unattractive women have when it comes to relationships. Attractive women can get INTO relationships easier, but unattractive women can REMAIN in relationships easier because they were probably selected for qualities that are going to LAST throughout the years. Keep that in mind next time you see a DUFF chillin’ at the bar, smiling because she’s consistently looking like a HERO for being cool, funny, interesting & caring towards dudes that her attractive homegirl just finished haughtily rejecting.

“Content is King” is a lie that’s been perpetuated in web video circles for a few years now. “Eye Candy” has always been.. Queen.. but I’ve recently noticed that the tables have turned and Content actually *has* overtaken EC..

I wrote about EC in March 2008 and mentioned “the formula”, which was that whatever actual content you had, the way to get views for your show was to have an attractive female as the ‘front’ or the ‘face’ of the show. She didn’t have to know or understand JACK about JACK so long as she could look good and read her lines. I probably noticed this formula in 2007, since I got started in online video in 2006.

Regardless of the content, the most popular shows were headlined by a female that was nice to look at. Period. (with the one obvious exception being Ze Frank’s “The Show”)

It was even worse on YouTube, because everybody knew that YT took the picture that represented your video from exactly 50% into your episode. If your video was 6 minutes long, the still YT would take was @ 3 minutes. So.. Regardless of what the actual content was, people would figure out the final length of their show and insert a few frames of a chick in a bikini exactly in the middle. They’d upload their show, YouTube would pull the image of the bikini chick, all the boys would click on it expecting to see some ass, the video would get popular and then eventually ‘featured’, where it could really take off and get more views.

This worked, BTW, with videos that didn’t even have a female IN THEM, because guys couldn’t figure that out without clicking on the bikini-chick, by which time your ‘view’ was already counted. Thanks, sucker! :D

“The Formula” was so pervasive that I was discussing doing a show for these guys’ company and one of them actually said to me (verbatim) “We’d love to do a show.. but we don’t have a girl.”

Having a female headlining your show that guys would enjoy imagining having sex with was certainly the key to success back in the day, but at this point, if you look at numbers of YouTube subscribers as well as episode views, Content has clearly come into its own as guys and gals who are actually talking about something intelligent or providing some kind of actual entertainment value to their viewers have vastly outpaced the “Look at me and my tits” chicks.

I mean, VASTLY, like left them in the dust. I didn’t think it would happen, but it has, and there’s no end in sight. I think what happened is that the early adopters enjoyed success at the time, because they were the only ones doing it. Now that everybody and their sister has a YouTube channel and is doing the exact same thing, it’s tough to gain new followers / subscribers. As a matter of fact, an annoying trend has developed, where people actually ASK YOU not only to subscribe to their channels, but to rate their episode “5 Stars”. :/ .. Um.. How are you going to TELL SOMEONE what to rate your episode? wow. “Please rate my episode” I can understand. “Please rate it 5 Stars” (Top Rating Available)? Come on. :/

So.. If you don’t have any girls (or, no *attractive* girls), do your show ANYWAY. *THIS* is your time! :D Eye Candy is OVER!

You have as much chance of your show becoming popular as anyone else. So long as you have a good topic that’s sustainable (you can consistently release episodes ad infinitum), the viewing public is willing to accept, watch, listen to, follow, friend, subscribe, rate and virally pass your show on to their friends & relatives.

According to police reports, someone who shall remain nameless in this post was shot to death by his 20-year-old girlfriend recently.

Since people have been waiting for this to happen to ME for a quarter-century already, I thought I’d throw in my two cents on the situation in general.

I have no opinion on the situation in PARTICULAR, because I didn’t know either person involved and I wasn’t there, so I have no idea what went on. Besides that, one particular incident isn’t as important as the overall problem…. That problem being…..

Young Chicks Are Dangerous… BELEEDAT!!! :D

Guys

I’ve written a lot of funny stuff about the systematic emasculation of the American male in an attempt to laugh instead of crying or getting mad at something I have ZERO control over. Until this incident, I didn’t see it as something dangerous to guys.. only something that would make their lives progressively worse as generations progress. You can hear it in the music. We’ve gone from Metal to Grunge to whatever classification Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit was to less and less aggressive music, arriving finally at stuff like Hipster music, Auto-Tune R&B begging and lying music and any kind of Rap that won’t be saying anything useful at all, but will get the girls to shake their asses on the dance floor and give it up without condoms.

Garbage.

Meanwhile, some feminists are laughing all the way to the bank, and they very well should be if you consider this a “Market Correction” against all the unfair practices that have been heaped upon women since, like.. forever. The media’s doing a really good job of removing all traces of aggression from their portrayals of males. No more “Miami Vice”, with Crockett & Tubbs…. oh… meaning DON JOHNSON and PHILLIP MICHAEL THOMAS, *NOT* Colin Farrell & Jamie Foxx….. What we get NOW is a bunch of dudes that don’t even get CALLED UP until the crime is OVER, and then they use their MINDS to figure out whodunnit and sit across desks, mentally defeating their opponents without having to lay a finger, and GOD FORBID a bullet on them.

Girls

Meanwhile… Girls are being taught that they can do whatever they want. Again, this is necessary to pump up their self-esteem and effect the necessary “Market Correction” to attempt to create an even playing field between men and women, socially as well as in the business world. Unfortunately, it also creates a completely unrealistic view of life for them.

Their concept of life is only sustainable as long as they remain in the company of people that were raised the same way. Once they step outside of that environment or that environment steps away from them without them noticing, they’re suddenly ill-prepared to deal with the potential nastiness of real life. An example of this that gets played out every single weekend across the country is when a girl that’s used to getting BLITZED (very drunk) with her friends does the exact same actions when her friends aren’t around or they’re not paying attention to her and she ends up getting used.

You can say all you want that things like that SHOULDN’T happen, and I agree with you that they SHOULDN’T, but the fact of the matter is that they DO. Every. Single. Day. Don’t take my word for it. Read the papers. Watch the news. Read blogs. Ask your friends. It’s a daily operation. A percentage of those situations would have been avoided if SOMEONE would have told those girls “If guys catch you slippin’, they’re going to use you”. Every chick that I know that I’ve had a REAL conversation with about this issue will tell you I’ve told them exactly that and that they need to remain vigilant, keep their business close to the vest, and watch their own backs.

Unfortunately, most people want to pump this shangri-la version of reality in which nothing ever happens to ‘nobody’, and ESPECIALLY not to girls or women. This, of course, gasses chicks’ heads up into believing that a) they’re invincible, by birthright as a female and because everyone’s been telling them so since they were small children, and b) even if they’re proven NOT to be invincible, whatever guys happen to be in the nearby area will hop-to and get her out of whatever problem *SHE* started.

FINE Girls

This problem’s even WORSE if a girl grows up cute and/or sexy (Yes, those are two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT qualities). NOW, every guy in the street wants God to bless her…… Every guy in the street wants to open the door. Every guy wants to give her their number. Every guy wants to take her out. Every guy wants to do her favors. Every guy wants to buy her stuff. Every guy wants to “Wife her up” HAHAHAHA .. NO-BOD-DEE wants to tell her that ANYTHING she does is wrong, lest they blow their chance to get laid with a fine chick.

Now, you have a compound issue (until she gets older and becomes a has-been), because now, she’s invincible AND greedy. :D Since all these guys want to buy her stuff and take her out and give her money, assuming that all other things are equal she may as well hook up with the best provider. That’s all well and good, except she’s still riding that fantasy wave of everything going her way. That’s not often REALITY when it comes to relationships. Sometimes, things happen to her when she’s not yet mentally prepared to take a loss gracefully…..

Kids

While aggression has been syphoned from the American male in general, it’s been aggressively removed from child discipline, first in the schools and ultimately in homes. At this point, if you’re known to hit your kids, you’re basically an instant pariah. Just add water.

It’s because of this that kids, male and female, grow up thinking “If my parents aren’t going to touch me, nobody else is either”. You hear it all the time… “You’re Not My Father!!!”.. Even to guys that picked up the slack and stepped in when some deadbeat ******* decided he didn’t want to raise his own children. The guy that’s putting clothes on your back, a roof over your head, food on your table and money in your mother’s pocket, and he can’t get that respect, because he’s not biologically responsible for you breathing?

I don’t have any kids, but I was one. I remember being immortal and invincible. I did anything I wanted, whenever I wanted…. um… so long as it didn’t get back around to my Dad!!! :D hahahaha The only reason I have any sense at all of where the buck stops is because I had an authority figure that I grew up respecting because I had to, not because I chose to. At this point, kids know damned well that if teachers or parents even YELL at them too loudly, they can drop dime on them and solve the situation without having to handle their own business. What they learn from this is that they don’t have to be RESPONSIBLE for themselves. If life isn’t going your way, call someone up, and they’ll change things for you while you drink soda that you didn’t pay for on the porch.

Entitlement

All of these factors lead to feelings of ENTITLEMENT. Everything’s supposed to go your way. Nobody’s supposed to get away with things you don’t like. There’s GOT TO BE SOMEONE who will change the situation for you under all circumstances, right?… RIGHT?…

This is why young, fine chicks are DANGEROUS. :D DANGEROUS!!!… Because they’re not ready to lose. They’re not mentally prepared to take a loss. It’s never happened to them before.. not on a grand scale. They still think they’re in control.. of anything and EVERYTHING. On top of that, the media tells them every day that the guy they’re dating isn’t going to do anything to them, even if she physically assaults him.. So, as far as shes concerned, the sky’s the limit as far as what she’s willing to do to you to get her way.

You don’t want to be the first major loss a chick takes. Period. Just like you don’t want to be the first to “get in”, because she’ll never get over it, you don’t want to be there for the experience that jars her into reality. Even if it’s a temporary recognition, it’s a dangerous state for her to be in… Dangerous FOR YOU, that is. :D

Whatever you just told her she can’t have that she believes she’s ENTITLED to… If she can’t figure out a rational way to get the train back on the right track, she could very well snap, temporarily or permanently. Most guys aren’t going to be aware of this, because they’re not really listening to what their girls are saying anyway. They just figure they can come out their face with “It’s over” or “I’m not divorcing my wife” or “I’m not paying for the kid” or “I changed my mind, I’m not taking you to Cancun” or whatever and it’s gonna be all lovely and status quo. Meanwhile, he doesn’t realize he just set off her “Get what I want, by any means necessary” trigger.

That same feeling that made her throw that book at her teacher and call the cops on her own parents for not letting her go to the sleepover is now telling her to figure out how to get you back for what you just said or did to her. This is why you don’t want to be around the first time she experiences this. There’s no telling what’s going to happen. There are some chicks, that when they say “I don’t want to live without you”, they actually mean it. They might decide to take YOU along for the ride.

On top of that, there are A LOT of dumb dudes out there that are willing to do A LOT of dumb things on the promise of some ass from a fine chick, so you might find out your problem isn’t only with her, but instead with some dudes that you never even saw before and have ZERO beef with, whatsoever.

Solutions

The solution to this problem is to make sure you don’t tap that until she mentally stabilizes. Be her friend, hang out with her, coach her, be there for her, just don’t become the center of her universe until you feel like she MIGHT be able to handle it if you broke up, or whatever else might trigger an episode for her.

Another relatively good solution is to STOP LYING TO CHICKS! :D We all know how easy it is to get on with a lie and then hope she goes away before realizing what happened. Put your cards on the table and keep things real with her so she can make her own educated decision about whether to mess with you or not. At the very least, when she tries to blame you for something, she also has to blame herself, because you told her so to her face ahead of time.

Another good idea is to utilize Checks & Balances to verify her mental state via endorsements from several mutual friends. Don’t just listen to ONE friend, because they might know she’s crazy and they’re trying to pawn her off on you before she goes berserk on THEM! :D Make sure they’ve seen her lose something… ANYTHING!.. A job, a game of badminton, backgammon, SOMETHING! I remember finding out A LOT about a homegirl of mine by trouncing her a few times in a row playing pool, and I’m not even GOOD at pool. She thought she was going to beat me (and so did I, haha), she didn’t and then she didn’t and then she didn’t again and she basically got so mad she turned into a different person….

A fourth plan is to actually TALK to women and find out what they’re looking to get out of life in general and a relationship with YOU in particular. If you hear some things that you don’t see yourself providing her, especially rings and kids, you might want to batten down the hatches and take a PASS on this one. Also, if hooking up seems like it’ll be a way more special event to her than it will be to you, bounce. Stick her in the friend zone until she’s taken a few losses and finally comes around to seeing things your way…. well…. Either that, or she’s in jail for killing SOMEBODY ELSE!!! :D

This is a reply to a comment that reader JS left on “Why Women Have To Be Attractive And Men Don’t”. I thought he had some interesting points and complaints and wanted to make this its own post:

I’m going to try to list your points so I can respond. Please let me know if I misunderstand what you’re saying:

1. Men don’t have any power in “the dating game”, because women have the power to reject AND choose.
2. Women go for men they find facially attractive, so if you have that, you’re golden.. Otherwise, you’re “short”.
3. Women say raunchy things about men and wanting to give it up to the guys they think are visually attractive.
4. When women get older, they start to lose their sexiness and therefore lose the only power they had over men in the first place.
5. Men are at a severe disadvantage, from youth through middle age if they’re not handsome.

ok… As far as men being at a disadvantage, EVERYONE’S at a disadvantage if they’re less physically or visually attractive than the next person. I discussed this over a year ago, in February 2008, in “Life Isn’t Fair”. You’re saying that guys are at a disadvantage when it comes to women in general. I’m saying guys have a disadvantage when it comes to other guys and gals have a disadvantage when it comes to other gals. Life is just BETTER for attractive people. It’ll never be different.

As far as women saying raunchy things about guys whom they’d love to do all sorts of deliciously dirty things to them, that’s true too. I agree with you 100% that IF a woman chooses you, she’s going to act completely differently around you than when she’s around some guy that’s nice enough and polite enough, but she just never thinks about hooking up with this guy.

I also agree with you that women are sexually more selective than men are. There are biological reasons for this as well as societal pressures to not want people to believe that they’re “sluts”. There’s also the reason that women generally tend to get emotionally wrapped up in sex while guys are “getting girls”, and the good times that are had are appreciated, but it’s really emotionally no big deal. I won’t bother getting into the technical issues of “body memory”….

As far as women losing power as they get older, that’s true in most cases, but not true in some cases. If a woman is becoming a better human being through her life experiences, she’s probably way more attractive when she’s older than she was when she was younger. Not everybody likes ditzy girls with big tits….. wait… EVERYBODY likes ditzy girls with big tits, but my point is that intelligence, sensuality, sexuality, world-view and overall understanding of life in general can be very sexy if a woman develops herself mentally and emotionally during her dating career instead of just accepting shopping sprees and free dinners and remaining an idiot.

It’s the women who remain idiots who ultimately lose their power over men because the only reason guys were talking to them at all was because they wanted to have sex with them. Women with CLASS are going to have men that want to spend time with them for many, many, many, many, many years after the ditzy sex-chicks become has-beens and nobody pays any attention to them anymore or ever holds the door open for them to pass through.

So now, we come to where I disagree with your point…

Men don’t have ANY power. They THINK they have power in the dating game, but they don’t. Women hold all the cards. They have the power to reject AND choose.

While it’s true that women are the ones who choose whether to spread their legs or not, that doesn’t equal “power”. I discussed this back in July 2008, in “5 Tips on How To Get A Girlfriend”. The *ONLY* reason a woman would have power over YOU through her choice of whether to have sex with you or not is if you have ONLY. ONE. WOMAN! Does that make sense?

If you have only one woman, that’s YOUR FAULT for not exercising YOUR POWER and getting more than one. If YOU chose to put all your eggs in one basket, that’s YOUR PROBLEM and you can’t blame it on women for all choosing to have sex with Brad Pitt…. GO. GET. OTHER. WOMEN… GO. GET. *MORE*. WOMEN. :D

If you can’t find any more really attractive women, LOWER. YOUR. STANDARDS. Do not complain about how women are all choosey unless YOU’VE kicked it with women that you consider less attractive and even THEY didn’t want to mess with you.

Do you see where this is going?… The power which women obviously have, which is the power to give it up or not give it up, ONLY extends as far as the physical boundaries of their own bodies. It’s YOU that’s giving women power over YOU by saying that if particular women don’t have sex with you, you can’t get laid at all.

Similarly, YOU have ZERO POWER over a woman getting pregnant. If she says she wants to get pregnant, you can just tell her “go ahead” and see what happens. The ONLY way you have power in that situation is if she wants to get pregnant BY YOU, and you haven’t made any donations to the sperm bank. Get it?

So, yes, women have power. Power over themselves, not over YOU. If the hawt chicks you know don’t want to give you some, start hanging out with other chicks. Hang out in another town. Move to another country. Do whatever you have to do to make your quality of life what you want it to be.

Is it TOUGH for non-handsome dudes to get on? Yup. Is it unfortunate? Yup. Unfortunately, that’s life, in the United States, at least. That’s why guys develop tricks and scams to cheat women out of sex. That’s why guys lie and tell chicks ANYTHING to get them to lay down.

Start studying and get your game up. If that doesn’t work, make sure you hang out in places where the guys look worse than you do and you’ll be King of the Hill.
