Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?

Six months later… Let’s discuss scams and fake campaigns again. 😀

Now that there are 82 days left until the election, (270towin.com/2016-countdown-clock/) and people like Michael Moore are jumping on the bandwagon 5 months after I wrote “Donald Trump Is Playing With You Because He Knows You Don’t Count”, let’s go over this again. 😀 Continue reading “Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?”

Trumpesque Dating Techniques

How to apply techniques utilized in Presidential campaigns to increase the success of your dating career.

Now that I’ve become aware that you can’t be disqualified for attempting to become the President of the United States of America due to mental deficiency or illness, I think I’ll try some similar dating techniques that definitely shouldn’t work, but apparently approximately 50% of the women in this country might fall for them anyway.

Conversation Styles

Her: “Where were you born? :D”
Me: “In a crossfire hurricane…… And I howled at my Ma in the driving rain……… But it’s alright now. In fact it’s a gas. :D”
Her: “That’s so fascinating! :D” Continue reading “Trumpesque Dating Techniques”

I’m A New Yorker.. And I Know A Con When I See One

Sometimes, you can help people to see reality clearly so they don’t fall for the okey-doke. Other times, not so much.

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg (And my former boss when I used to work for Bloomberg Television) was addressing the Democratic National Convention last night when he said:

“I’m a New Yorker.. And I know a CON when I see one.”

HAHAHAHA oh man! 😀

I try to explain things like this to internet people, but they just don’t get it because they don’t have enough life experience.

Here in NYC, we walk a lot. We use mass transportation a lot. We have a lot of encounters with actual human beings from when we’re kids all the way up.

This gives us a different understanding of life, people, and possibilities from the person sitting in a basement in Arkansas typing on the internet about things he or she has never actually experienced ever in life.

At the same time.. It isn’t my job to explain to the naive masses how I know a certain person is a fraud, fake, or con man.

My job is to interact with the fraud as exactly who he or she is, and not as the uninformed public perceive them to be. Continue reading “I’m A New Yorker.. And I Know A Con When I See One”

Stop. Letting. *IDIOTS*. Represent. You.

If you continue to let idiots, dregs of humanity, and lowlives speak for you, don’t complain when you get what you deserve because people believe you’re affiliated with them.

Here’s how the internet works… Some event occurs and 100 people post about the exact same thing, along with their two-cent-worth commentary about it.

Have you ever watched a football game IRL (in real life), with actual human beings that were in the same room you were in?

If not, skip to the next section. < *DING*>

If you have.. When a touchdown is scored, people simultaneously cheer or boo = react.

On the internet, when something occurs, people react to it after a) the event occurs, b) they find out about it, and c) they get a chance to upload their thought(s) to social media.

This means that you will have someone cheering for a touchdown that occurred on Sunday, but it will already be Tuesday.

Meanwhile, people cheered ALL OF SUNDAY and ALL OF MONDAY already. 😀

It’s only on rare occasions that any of these people are EXPERTS in what they’re talking about.

Most of the time, they’re just human beings with feelings and a smartphone.

What happens next is worse, though…

The comment section. Continue reading “Stop. Letting. *IDIOTS*. Represent. You.”

re: Authenticity

Empathy, Compassion, and Kindness are all lovely, so long as nothing important is at stake.

My excellent friend Dina Kaplan wrote an article entitled “Why I’m Over Authenticity: The Intersection of Honesty and Empathy”.

You would have to know more about Dina to appreciate the article the way I do, such as watching this presentation she gave:

Even without background information, the article by itself stands alone and most likely speaks for a lot of people who experienced the same types of things she did.

I’m now going to be as authentic as I can / want to be about some of the sections of her article.

[NOTE: This is my third version of this article, hahaha] Continue reading “re: Authenticity”

Consider Exiting Social Media [SMExit]

Consider that it might be a good idea for *YOU* to receive psychotherapy simply because you watched someone get perforated yesterday.

Social Media May Not Be For You

The events of the past couple of days have prompted me to suggest to you that perhaps you shouldn’t be involved with social media.. At All.. And maybe you’d be better off and happier in your own little world where you don’t know anything that goes on in the rest of the world.

I started thinking about this yesterday.

Yesterday, I accidentally watched a video of a man being murdered where you can see that he isn’t dead yet, but he will be soon, and his chest is gushing blood from where the bullets perforated his body.

In fact, I should say I accidentally watched *MOST* of that video because I stopped watching it after I realized the person had filmed everything perfectly and I had already seen more than I had intended to. Continue reading “Consider Exiting Social Media [SMExit]”

The Power You Don’t Have [Game of Thrones s06 e10 Finale]

Unless you have a ring that turns you invisible, leave dragons alone.

Delusional Peasants

The Game of Thrones season 06 finale was well-written.

The writers spoke to something that I’ve wanted to say for a long time, but didn’t have a concrete way to put it until I saw it play out in this episode.

This episode had instance after instance after instance after instance of people thinking they had power that they never had and finding out that they didn’t have that power.

This is where a lot of people trip themselves up IRL (In Real Life). They believe in the power they don’t have.

Part of this is because of the Loser Society that we’re currently experiencing.

Everybody wants to act like people are equals, when we are not.

Everybody wants to act like winners don’t get or even DESERVE more than losers.

So you have people who attempt to claim the spoils of the winners even though they’re actually losers.

When they see other losers such as themselves get away with this, they figure they can do it too and try their luck walking the tightrope between high-rise buildings.

Halfway across….. A gust of wind pushes them off the rope and they realize that they actually needed *SKILL* to do what they were trying to do without killing themselves.

Skill they don’t have.

Meanwhile, a lot of people are serfs who are allowed free reign over “their” land until their actions run afoul of what THE KING wanted them to do, and then they get wiped out, replaced, and more serfs work that land as if the first set was never there.

That easily-replaced set of serfs perceives themselves as kings because they think that they’re self-governing.

They’re approximately as autonomous as the fish in your fishbowl.

Sure.. All the fish have to do is swim around, eat fish food, play tag with each other, look at the humans on the other side of the glass… But the human is providing their entire world. The human paid for the tank. The human pays for the electricity that runs to the tank. The human buys the food. The human puts the food in the tank.

That same human, if properly provoked, will scoop you out of that bowl and flush you down the toilet. Continue reading “The Power You Don’t Have [Game of Thrones s06 e10 Finale]”

Spectator Society [Conflation, Part 03]

Don’t worry about what “We” are going to do when you aren’t a part of “We” in the first place.

Social Media is great. 🙂

An unfortunate effect of social media on a lot of people is that it causes them to develop a warped perception of themselves as participants in situations where they’re merely spectators.

This leads to questions they unnecessarily rack their brains over, such as “What are *WE* going to do about this? :O” when they have no say in the matter whatsoever.

Your ability to say something doesn’t indicate any power that you have to change anything at all about the situation you’re commenting on. Continue reading “Spectator Society [Conflation, Part 03]”

Scripting A Ghetto Crime Web Series

While researching ghetto crime web shows for an upcoming project, I noticed several stereotypes that I hope we’ll be able to avoid.

So a good friend of mine pitched me an idea for a ghetto crime web series which I’ll probably edit and also co-write with him and whomever else he selects to make this project happen.

I think he has a great idea for a fresh take on the genre, so I’m excited about and interested in the project.

Being Like Me Isn’t Like Being Me [HoC S01EP06-S02EP02]

Even if you fully understand what I’m doing.. Which you don’t, because nobody told you.. That doesn’t mean that YOU can do the same thing and achieve anywhere near the same results.

So now I’ve made it through Episode 02 of Season 02 of House of Cards.

In our previous discussion, billcammack.com/2016/03/11/house-cards-season-01-ep01-ep05 I mentioned how they were writing for the long game. I also mentioned what I had thought was going to happen to the hooker in Bald Guy’s car, which didn’t happen….. And then it happened to a totally different character, which I personally saw coming from a mile away, but was still brilliant writing by the HoC staff, and I’m sure it caught people who don’t edit television shows totally by surprise.

The short version is that someone who was being trained in the arts thought they had graduated when she had not, and she paid for that gross miscalculation with her life.

These episodes also continued the (annoying to me, but probably prevalent in real life) show’s theme of people assigning importance, relevance, and power to themselves that doesn’t exist now and never existed to begin with.

Tantrums. People puffing their chests out and proclaiming what they are and aren’t going to do. Blah Blah Blah until the bored dragon decides to breathe fire and turn them into bacon faster than seeing Medusa. Continue reading “Being Like Me Isn’t Like Being Me [HoC S01EP06-S02EP02]”
