Romney Is A Nice Guy

Mostly, what people ask me is how they can force the opposite sex to do what they want.

Women want to know how to get guys to take them to dinner instead of incessantly trying to screw them.

Men want to know how to get women to give it up, since taking them to dinner didn’t produce the desired outcome = sex.

You might be wondering what that has to do with Romney attempting to become the President of the United States of America…

Fakin’ Tha Funk

Probably because they watch a lot of movies, and because they see women throwing ***** at “bad boys”, guys tend to ask my opinion about whether they should act like jerks to get laid faster.

There are several reasons why this technique works, and, yes, nice guys get laid more slowly.. well, not meaning physical movement by the chick, I mean it takes chicks longer to hook up with nice guys than “bad boys”, because there’s nothing sexy about nice dudes.

The problem is that you actually HAVE TO FEEL what you’re saying or doing.. You have to be authentic.

If you’re not, you look like what you are.. which is a nice guy pretending to be a badboy so you can get laid faster = you don’t get laid at all.

So when a dude asks me if he should act like he doesn’t care about having sex with a chick in order to get her to give it up, my question to him is “DO you care? o_O”

If his answer is “yes”, then pretending like he doesn’t isn’t the way to go for him.

If his answer is “no”, then yeah, he should make it clear to her how little he cares about screwing her.

What this has to do with Romney is that it’s clear that he’s faking.

It’s clear that Mitt Romney is a nice guy. I guarantee you he is.

He’s so HORRIBLE at acting like a jerk that it’s obvious that he’s a nice guy.

Unfortunately for him, because Santorum and Gingrich are being supported by billionaire Sugar Daddies to stay in the Republican Presidential nomination race, Romney has to keep trying to act like a jerk to stay on par with his competitors.

As soon as Romney locks up the nomination, he’s going to turn into a different person, just like Romney Campaign Senior Advisor, Eric Fehrnstrom said on national television:

Fehrnstrom: “Well, I think you hit a reset button, uh, for the fall campaign. Everything changes. It’s almost like an Etch-A-Sketch.. You can kind of.. shake it up, and we start all over again.

This is what I’ve been saying this whole time. Romney is the only one that’s going to be able to reverse his position from these ridiculous things he’s been saying over the last 6 months. He’s the only one that offers any challenge whatsoever to President Obama, because he’s going to act like he never said all the stuff he said while he was campaigning.

We know this because he’s currently acting like he never said all the stuff he said in the past. There’s videotape of him saying the exactly opposite thing about A. LOT. OF. TOPICS, and he acts like those tapes don’t exist.

Either he’s deliberately lying, or he’s mentally unable to access his previous statements and states of mind, even when people show him videotape of himself saying what he said.

Hair On Fire

Most of the time, Romney looks like he’s trying to access information he was taught on 3×5 flash cards, like Perry and Bachmann tried unsuccessfully to pull off.

Romney: Uh, you know, it’s, it’s very easy to excite the [Republican] base with incendiary comments, and we’ve seen throughout the campaign that if you’re willing to say really outrageous things that are accusative and attacking of President Obama that you’re going to jump up in the polls.

You know, I’m not willing to light my hair on fire to get support. I am who I am. I’m a person with extensive experience in the private sector, in the economy. I understand job creation from a personal standpoint, and from a theoretical standpoint.

I want to use those skills to help the country, and if I get selected, great, and if I don’t, I can live with that too.

I’m putting myself out there because I think I can do a better job getting America back on track. I think this President’s taken this in a very dangerous direction and that we’ve gotta get him out of the White House, but I’m not willing to say anything to get that done.

I think that was a genuine and heartfelt statement.

If this had been the Mitt Romney we had been seeing day in and day out, I personally believe he would actually have a 50/50 chance at winning the 2012 election.

If he would have stuck to the game plan, which was supposed to be that he knows more about job creation and the economy than President Obama, so the American people should elect him in order to have a better chance at future prosperity, this upcoming general election would have been very close, in my opinion.

Instead.. Romney’s advisors told him to run with the big dogs.. Religious Fanatic Santorum and Just Plain Jerk Gingrich.

Mistake.

Here’s a tip for the fellaz… You can’t out badboy the REAL badboys.

When Gingrich says something demeaning, you know he means it.

When Santorum says something religious, you know he means it.

Romney can neither out-jerk Gingrich nor out-religion Santorum, so he should never have tried it from the giddyap. He should have stuck to whatever *HIS* personal feelings were, so people would find him authentic, even if they didn’t wholeheartedly agree with his political stances.

This is why I advise dudes *NOT* to try to act like badboys to get laid.

When you do that, you get compared to the real deal, and you’re found severely lacking.

As soon as Gingrich and Santorum are out of the picture, watch the change in Romney’s demeanor. He’s acting right now. He knows what people want to hear, so he’s saying it.

Just like his senior advisor said.. They’re going to start all over.

Jay Smooth pointed out to me that JIll Scott had this to say in Essence Magazine:

I admit when I saw his wedding ring, I privately hoped. But something in me just knew he didn’t marry a sister. Now, I was going to let this topic slide because I don’t care. However.. Sensing that we’re going to have some more fake Sex Addict claims in the near future, I may as well break up my ongoing coverage of that topic with something else.

Disclaimers

First of all, let me say that I understand what Jill’s saying and I understand from reading what she wrote and listening to her in the video clip I posted above why she feels hurt about the situation.

Second of all, which is really honestly first of all, let me say that I’m aware that I’m the last one that should have any opinion on black women at all.

Everybody that’s seen me in action knows how I roll. Of the gals I’ve messed with, the percentage of them that have been black is relatively close to 0% >:D

I think that covers all the disclaimers, so let’s discuss Jill’s topic, which specifically spoke about white chicks and black dudes.

Statistics

We live in the United States of America.. In the year 2010 AD. Unless you live in an all-minority neighborhood and go to all-minority schools and work at all-minority jobs, MOST of the people you come into contact with in this country are going to be white.

According to the 2000 United States Census”, 75.1% of respondents said they were white, while 12.3% said they were black.

Let’s say we evened that out to 50% white and 50% black people across the board. That means that a black chick has the same chance as a flipped coin landing on either heads or tails to be selected by ANY GUY to mess with or get into a relationship. Even if the numbers were EVEN, there is NO CIRCUMSTANCE where a black female is 100% guaranteed to get the rap from a guy merely due to the fact that he happens to be black as well.

I think this is the main problem with Jill’s argument. Like I said, I understand why she feels the way she feels, but it’s entirely unreasonable to expect that guys are going to ignore 75% of women or 3 out of every 4 women in this country because their skin is a different color.

Do you know how hard guys have to work to get laid in this country? :D This whole thing is ridiculous. It’s not new, either. I’m glad it’s getting attention now that Jill brought it up, so maybe people will discuss this rationally and women that are being affected by this might be able to attain some enlightenment & closure and move on.

Life Isn’t Fair

I’m 5’9″. Thanks to all the drugs they’ve been putting in the meat for the last ten years, there are lots of chicks that are taller than I am. There are lots of chicks that don’t want to date guys that are shorter than they are. What do you want me to do about that? Cry? Complain? Talk about how unfair life is? Wear platform shoes like Prince? What do you want me to do? :D

It’s ridiculous! There are lots of chicks that are 5’9″ and shorter that would love to hook up with me, so a brotha gotsta GET IN where he FIT IN. That’s how life works. Similarly, if you see a black dude with a white chick, that doesn’t mean YOU could have pulled him even IF he only dated black chicks to begin with. You still would have had to fend off, what?.. 30,000,000 OTHER black females?.. Good Luck.

The thing that I find laughable about this situation is the chicks that talk all this **** when they weren’t trying to give you any in the first place. :D Seriously.. Listen, ladies.. If you’re not tryin’na hook up with a dude, nobody cares what your opinion is. Nobody. Your argument has GOT. TO. BE. “If you don’t hook up with that white chick, I’ll give you some”. If it’s not YOU, it’s gonna have to be a good-looking homegirl of yours.

Seriously. It’s like you’re saying “Don’t buy that pretzel from that vendor” and then we don’t and then you’re there like “…………..”. What am I supposed to do? Starve? Because *YOU* came up with the stupid idea for me NOT to do something without offering me a preferable alternative?

Does Race Matter?

While I’m on the topic, a female friend of mine, who of course is white, asked me something to the effect of “Does race even matter in tech?”, adding “I don’t know the race of a person I’m talking to on the phone or over the internet”. The reason she asked me this is that I had been explaining to her about a situation which caused James Andrews to write “How We Were Kanye’d At SXSW 2010 And Why It Was Wrong” which Faith Dow responded to with This Post and This Post.

Long story short.. Apparently, there was a SXSW panel called “Blacks In Tech”, which, actually, now that I look at the lineup on James Andrews’ blog post, included my friend Nichelle Stephens, which failed to field an all-black panel. Faith Dow took exception to this and brought it up when it was her turn to speak when they opened the floor to audience members.

There was more hubbub. Go read their posts if you give a damn. The point is that if you’re going to make something called Five Apples On A Stage, there had damned ******* well be FIVE ******* APPLES on the stage or you just have to eat it (haha no pun intended) when someone says “THOSE ARE ORANGES! :/”. There’s nothing you can say about it. There’s no defense whatsoever.

Anyway, that’s what led to my friend’s question. The answer is that race matters in tech to fools.

If you become aware that someone’s better, more stylish, more creative, more insightful or just plain FASTER than other people that do the exact same job he or she does and you elect not to hire them because their skin color is different from yours, you get what you deserve, which is an inferior product.

So if the panel had been named “Minorities In Tech”, Faith Dow wouldn’t have had jack to say about it… Except it WASN’T named that, so it either looks like DELIBERATELY FALSE ADVERTISING or an EPIC FAILURE in an attempt to find either 5 or 6 black people to sit on the same SXSW panel in the year 2010 AD (When this amazing feat has already been pulled off at several SXSW conferences in the past). There’s no defense against this. The panel should have been renamed before SXSW even started, or the panel should have been populated as advertised.

C’mon SON!

Getting back to Jill Scott’s point.. If you’re going to reach all the way back to Civil Rights and beyond to explain why you wince when black guys hook up with white girls, you need to focus on what the point was of granting people rights in the first place. It wasn’t “Please, oh please grant us the right to kick it to 12% of the American population”. It was “Grant us the right to do the **** whatever we FEEL like doing, so long as we’re within the law and not hurting anybody”. Instead of feeling poorly, shouldn’t you actually feel HAPPY that SOMEONE benefitted from Civil Rights? O_o

What about when blacks work for white companies? Is that upsetting too? :D Should blacks turn down white clients for some odd reason? Should blacks not be on linkedin? What about Facebook? Should blacks only patronize BlackPlanet.com? I mean, seriously, where does it end? \o/

There is no reason at all why a black dude shouldn’t kick it with a white chick that’s interested in him, unless of course, she’s busted.

That’s how it works. If a chick is attractive, “She could get it”. If she’s not attractive, “Nah.. That’s AIITE!”. Most guys, black, white or otherwise aren’t thinking about the situation any more deeply than that.

Also… I suggest that y’all stop spreading rumors that white chicks listen to orders, take their men shopping, act properly around company, let you do all kinds of Tiger-Woods-sex-text-message-type stuff to them and then get up and make you a sandwich, because you’re only making matters worse for YOURSELVES!!! >:D

Interview Women Like A CEO

If you have a boring personality, you can go out with any chick, and it’s cool. It’s not so easy for edgy guys that like to do fun & interesting stuff on the spur of the moment. It’s easy for your natural persona to clash with hers instead of combining with hers in a way that both of you have a fantastic time. There are obvious limitations to some chicks’ abilities to go with the flow. She might not be into taking pictures, for instance. If that’s a way that you express yourself and inform your friends and family of what you’re doing with your one life that we’re going to get, then that’s a clash. In order for that to be a win-win, you have to either NOT hang out with her or NOT take pictures of her when you’re hanging out.

Another example is PDA (Public Displays of Affection). You might be into it, and she isn’t. The only win-win is a compromise between each of your comfort levels, which normally means NO PDA whatsoever. Then again, if your point in spending time with her is to “Display Affection” ;), you just don’t take her out in public from the giddyap.

PDA… Personal Digital Assistant? :D

Anyway… Chicks tend to go out with boring guys. This is because boring guys are stable… Easily controlled… Less likely to cheat, either because they’re “not that type” or they’re too busted or weird to get another girl anyway. Chicks like stuff like that for some reason. They’d rather mess with a guy they know they’re not going to lose anytime soon than a guy they know they’re really physically attracted to but don’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell of controlling >:D

So they THINK their guys are edgy, but they’re really not… Not by a longshot. Unfortunately, they expect YOU to be just like the boring dudes. “Guilt by Association” rears its ugly head! :D You have to make sure you distinguish yourself as separate from that pack. Otherwise, when you’re chilling at a birthday party, drinking and flirting with her @ the karaoke bar and eventually, you pull up to her bumper, she’s like “WHAT THE #&*$ WAS THAT??? :O” as if something strange is happening.

A ‘quick and dirty’ way to distinguish yourself to chicks is to apply a form of shock therapy. Scare the living daylights out of them, as far as relationships go. Make sure they’re aware that you’re capable of ANY-THING at ANY-TIME. :D Make them wary of leaving their little sisters OR their mothers around you. This does THEM the favor of opening their minds to the potentials of life, interaction and fun, while doing YOU the favor of clearing the path so that when you DO do something edgy with her, she’s just relieved that it’s not any of the WORSE things that she already imagined you doing to her. :)

Strangely enough, I started thinking about this because of this tech video. Watch the first 1:30:

So I’m watching this, and I realized that the same thing he does to potential employees… I do that to chicks. :) Sure, you want to be friendly with them and all that… However, if they’re looking to get past friendship, you really want to scare the BEJESUS out of them, or else, similar to janky website design, your relationship’s going to be *BROKEN* practically immediately.

I had to watch it again. I use *EXACTLY* the same style. First of all, don’t try to hook me up unless you KNOW me. This is similar to the part where he says “I interview every single person that comes to work for me” and “It really leads to some problems in the company, like if I’m on a trip for 5 days and we need to bring somebody in and say, you know what? If they sit with me, and I can look them in the eye…” That’s the whole thing. You can tell when you look her in the eye whether she understands who she’s looking at or not. It’s a form of concentrated attention, the way she focuses on you and pays attention to what you’re saying… It’s like she’s fascinated by you, yet afraid to turn her back on you at the same time.

This is another reason you need to use shock therapy on chicks. When they’re talking about you to their girlfriends (and they ALWAYS talk about you to their girlfriends), you want them saying THE RIGHT THINGS that bring their girls to the table ready for battle. You don’t want all this “oh, he’s a nice guy” and “oh, he’s so educated and cute and smart” because then, their girls meet you with visions of kids, dogs and Volvos in their heads, so now you have to do DOUBLE the work, to deconstruct them mentally and then REconstruct them and THEN see if they’re compatible with you now that they know what the real deal is.

So in the case of hiring someone, you want your employees to know the drill when it comes to working for your company. In the case of hookups, you want your ground troops traveling with the right information so the chicks they bring back either love you or hate you. Still, hookups suck unless the chick involved really understands what you’re about, so it’s best to “interview every single person that comes to work for you” and “look them in the eye” and hit ‘em with the worst-case scenario. You can see her demeanor change, right on the spot. She’ll either think “I’d never go out with him” or “Oh, he thinks he’s a bad-ass… He doesn’t know who *I* AM!”, which will help you to decide to move forward with the interview or change the subject / bail out entirely.

Actually, there’s a third potential reaction, this kind of simpleton stare like she doesn’t understand what you just said. Depending on what you like in chicks you mess with, that’s either FANTASTIC or horrible. :D

So when you’re hitting her with the worst-case scenarios, it’s not actually important what she says. What’s important is HOW SHE LOOKS as soon as her brain comprehends what you just told her hahahaha :D The stages go like this after you finish speaking:

1) She hasn’t received all of the data yet
2) She has all the words, but she’s composing it into what it actually means
3) She realizes what you said and subconsciously reacts to it
4) She starts thinking about how she feels about what you said
5) She formulates her response
6) She delivers her response

The main thing you’re looking for is her subconscious reaction. IME, it’s usually “He’s kidding”, “Maybe I didn’t hear him correctly”, “That’s crazy”, “Life doesn’t work like that”, “There’s no way that works”, “Who’d fall for THAT?”, “Do guys really think that way?”, “That’s funny”, “I’d love to see him do that in real life”, etc etc etc. This is way more important than her eventual statement. She can say all she wants that what you said was messed up, but you already saw that gleam in her eye that she thought it was funny when she initially GOT what you were saying. She can say all she wants that she doesn’t care or what you said didn’t affect her, but you saw her get that “oh my God!” realization in her eyes of who she’s looking at. It’s like you mentally see her get up and walk away, but she physically sits there anyway to keep up appearances. But you can clearly feel her “leave you”.

So, yeah… If you’re an edgy guy, make sure you interview chicks like a business. Gauge their ability to hang with you by their reactions to your throwing the kitchen sink at them. If they pass, you know you can fight with them and still love them and vice versa. If they FAIL![EPIC], they might still be useful as friends, except *only* when you’re layin’ back in the cut NOT “doin’ you”. Same rules apply. Some people, you do business with. Some people, you have drinks with. Some people, you can do both with. Put her through the shock and watch her eyes, body language and breathing patterns. Turn up the heat level after level and when you’re convinced of her character and fortitude, turn it off. Let her be. She’s earned your respect and progressed to the next level.

Renzo Gracie Sherdog Interview

It turns out that Sherdog interviewed Renzo this morning @ 4am. Click the link to go to the page with the interview video.

Basically, Renzo confirms exactly what I said last night, which was obvious from watching the fight footage on DVR. He also makes a very good point about position. With the control Renzo had over the ground position, if kneeing to the head while the opponent’s grounded were *LEGAL*, the fight would have been over ASAP.

I’m glad Renzo’s ok. I had a concussion in 6th grade. I got it just before we went out to eat, and I was nauseous, my vision wasn’t really good, and the food I ate came right back up before we even left the restaurant. My friends were concerned for me, but later that day, I was fine. I’m glad the ref did the right thing and held the match up and ended up DQing Shamrock, because it’s one thing to train for months and then fight at your best conditioning, and another altogether to fight while your system isn’t operating correctly because Shamrock decided to blatantly cheat and then act like he didn’t know he wasn’t supposed to do that.
