2012 Republican Iowa Predictions
My most recent opinion about the Republican candidates was that we were going to see a Brokered Convention this cycle, because nobody was going to get enough votes to actually win. Having now seen more of how the system works, I’ve changed my mind.
The reason I figured it might be a close race was because Gingrich had just been sanctioned by a Christian group. We know that Romney, as a Mormon, won’t be getting many votes in the South. I figured that if Gingrich could make it to the South without being too far behind, he could catch up to Romney at that point.
Unfortunately for Gingrich, he became a frontrunner when Cain dropped out of the race so nobody would delve any more into the story about that chick whose rent he had been paying without telling his wife, and that he supposedly wasn’t having sex with. Read the rest of this entry »
Brokered Conventions
Send In The Clowns
I told you from the beginning that this cycle’s selection of Republican candidates is an absolute clown show, to put it kindly.
I also asked two main questions. The first one was “Where are the broke (poor) Republicans?”. The second was “How come none of the better Republicans (Chris Christie, Paul Ryan, etc) want to run, if they think it’s going to be so easy to defeat President Obama in 2012?”.
I was previously done talking about this tomfoolery, but the last few days, the pundits have been talking about something they hadn’t mentioned this entire time… Read the rest of this entry »
Done With Politics
I know most of y’all tune in to BillCammack.com to listen to me talk yang about women & dating, but I’ve been preoccupied recently with the clown show known as United States Politics.
I’m over it now, so we’ll be returning to our regularly-scheduled programming.. joined in progress.
What had HAPPENED was…
Why Did I Bother?

A little over 4 years ago, I had never heard of Barack Obama. EvAr. Read the rest of this entry »
Bye Bye, Fake Republican Candidates! :D
Tonight’s debate should be the final stage appearance for several of the fake Republican candidates that we’ve had to suffer through hearing about over the recent months.
Unfortunately, every time a Republican pundit is asked whether so-and-so is going to quit the race, they keep saying that it depends on when they run out of money.
Of course, this sucks. They can’t be booted for saying and doing stupid things, and they can’t be booted for not answering questions that are obviously going to sink them in the general election. Read the rest of this entry »
Rolling Disclosure
So I’m watching this MSNBC show, “Hardball”, and this dude, Chris Matthews is talking about Herman Cain and he uses this really great term.. “Rolling Disclosure”! :D hahahaha Oh Man, that perfectly describes what I’ve been wanting to write about.
Rolling Disclosure
Rolling Disclosure is when you only give up as much information as you think the person asking you the questions can actually prove.
Most of the time, this happens to me with women, and the discussion goes essentially exactly like this: Read the rest of this entry »
Scorched Earth Politics
Here’s what’s currently happening to your life:
Apparently, (and if you disagree, feel free to click here to post your thoughts in the comment section of this post) the Republicans are more interested in making President Barack Obama a “One-Term President” than they are in making sure that you have a job, have personal safety, or keep the house you currently live in.
Obama vs. Romney 2012
Republican Debate
Bloomberg Television and Charlie Rose made an interesting decision last night, by choosing to focus the entire Republican candidate debate on economic issues.
[Disclosure: I've edited video for Bloomberg Television, Charlie Rose, ABC and Fox News. www.linkedin.com/in/billcammack]
This was interesting because the candidates don’t have 90 minutes worth of things to say about the economy or jobs.
Of course, Herman Cain talked about his 999 plan, which Michele Bachmann snapped on him with something like “Turn those numbers over, and the devil is in the details”, indicating that if you flip it, it becomes 666: Read the rest of this entry »
You’re Going To Have To Debate President Obama
I still say the Republicans haven’t fielded their real Presidential Candidates yet, and they’re using the current set as bait, to see how the Democrats treat them and how their ideas are received by the American public.
The names I mentioned a long time ago, Chris Christie and Paul Ryan are popping up more and more frequently on the talk shows, while the Republican pundits look and sound less and less confident of their chances to defeat President Obama in the upcoming election, as well they should.
I had wanted to talk about specifics about last night’s Google / Fox News debate, but the candidates’ commentary and behavior was redundant, so I’m just going to keep this very simple, so simpletons can understand this.
Whomever the Republicans send to the big dance is GOING. TO. HAVE. TO. DEBATE. BARACK. OBAMA. Read the rest of this entry »
Republican GOP Presidential Candidate Debate 2011 [Part 03]
Continued from Part 01 and Part 02
Jon Huntsman
If it were up to me, which, of course, it isn’t.. I’d send Jon Huntsman to attempt to defeat President Obama in the next election.
IMO, he carries himself Presidentially, which makes sense, since he served in the administrations of four United States presidents… Something’s gotta rub off, right? >:D Read the rest of this entry »
Republican GOP Presidential Candidate Debate 2011 [Part 02]
Continued from Part 01
I had wanted to do a play-by-play breakdown of what had happened at the Republican Candidate Debate, but I didn’t complete it before President Obama’s speech, and now I have different things to discuss.
Rick Santorum
I hadn’t been aware that he was running. I had heard his name around the time of the Iowa Straw Poll, but since Michele Bachman came in first and Ron Paul came in second and Tim Pawlenty quit the race entirely, I had figured that everyone behind Pawlenty (4th place and down) would bounce as well. Republican GOP Presidential Candidate Debate 2011 [Part 01]
The first Republican GOP (“Grand Old Party”) Presidential Candidate Debate of the 2011 season aired last night.
I wouldn’t normally… ok.. I have never watched something like this in my entire life, because I don’t care. Ultimately, there will be a Republican selected to run against President Obama, who will win or lose. That’s how Presidential elections go in the USA.
Hail Mary
I’m interested this time because I became interested in what the Republican plan for 2012 was going to be the day I found out they selected Sarah Palin to attempt to become Vice President of the United States of America, running with John McCain. Read the rest of this entry »
How To Color Correct Obama
Formats Available: iPod (.mp4)
Whomever you think is the best candidate, it’s in your best interest to VOTE this Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 in the United States Presidential Election.
Bre Pettis, Justin Johnson, Clint Comer and I are all releasing new videos every weekday of November 2008, and re-releasing “old” videos every Saturday and Sunday. Check the far right sidebar for avatars with links to their videoblogs.
My first contribution is this video I made in March, 2008 which shows how to scene-match video footage using filters in Final Cut Pro. I figured I’d bring it back since the election’s so close, and it reminds me of how different things were back in March, before the Democrats or Republicans had selected their representatives and before their representatives had selected their running mates.
It’s been interesting. Let’s see what happens on the 4th! :D
