According to the ‘Jersey Shore’ glossary, a Grenade is defined as:

1) A large, portly woman of an unsightly nature and violent disposition. 2) A difficult, prickly (often sober) friend of a potential conquest who blocks your advances on their friend’s behalf. A wingman is required at all times to “dive on the grenade” to ensure your success in the bedroom.

Obviously, those two definitions have nothing to do with each other. I understand why whomever wrote that was confused. The Fellaz changed the description of a Grenade after a couple of episodes, which will throw people off that don’t know what the **** they’re talking about.

DUFFs

Generally, but not always, what they’re describing as a Grenade is actually a DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend). This is the war-chief that you see when you encounter a pack of females. She’s easily spotted as she’s looking suspiciously around and trying to keep a count of all her girlfriends and whether they’re talking to “creeps” or not.

The DUFF’s job is to go into action when she sees that one of her girls might be planning to give it up to a dude and cockblock him ASAP. She appears like The Great Gazoo to magically destroy your rap.

The reason the DUFF is so on-point is that nobody ever kicks it to her. This leads to excessive bitterness and the deep-seated desire to make sure that her homegirls get as little play as she does. The “D” stands for Designated, as in designated driver. The same way you send that one person to the party that’s not going to drink so they can safely drive the rest of the drunkards home at the end of the night, the DUFF is responsible for making sure none of her girls hook up past maybe the makeout stage.

The reason why the distinction needs to be made between the DUFF and a Grenade is that there are A. LOT. OF. FOYINE. GIRLS. THAT. COCKBLOCK. THEIR. ASSES. OFF!!!

Just because a gal’s good-looking doesn’t exclude her from being a Grenade. In fact, Attractive Grenades are worse than Busted Grenades, so definition #1 needs to be stricken from the record. Expecting only unattractive girls to attempt to defuse your rap is an amateur mindset.

Grenades

Because the Jersey Shore fellaz failed to make the distinction between DUFFs and Grenades, they’ve confused the uninformed public. For instance, this season, Mike mentions how he, Pauly & Vinny were in the hot tub with a bunch of chicks and then he splashed some water on his face and suddenly realized “We’ve got GRENADES, Man!!! :O”.

That comment didn’t make any sense… Grenades would have cockblocked their homegirls from getting in the hot tub to begin with. Meanwhile, the girls in the tub were throwing sex at the guys left and right. They were definitely DTF (Down To ****).

What Mike SHOULD have said was “When I splashed water on my face, I realized that we had brought home girls that I wouldn’t have admitted to anybody that I kicked it with, except it’s on videotape and broadcast worldwide on televison and the internet.”

The funny thing about statements like that is how Mike is continually surprised at the visual quality of girls he pulls when it’s been a running joke throughout the entire two seasons of Jersey Shore that he and Pauly will bring back anything they can to the house at the end of the night. If splashing water on his face made him realize what the girls HE brought home actually looked like, that’s his fault for removing his own Beer Goggles.

The Original Grenade

We met an actual Grenade in ‘Jersey Shore’ season 01. I believe this is where the confusion of the term came from.

The Fellaz were snapping on this girl for two different reasons which match up to the glossary definition. They found her to be visually unattractive, AND the entire time she was on screen, she was liable to cockblock Mike.

She actually had no reason to be at the house. Pauly didn’t want to hit it, so that meant he had to babysit her so his boy Mike could get laid.

The Jersey Shore guys call this typical wingman tactic “Falling on the Grenade”. Basically, you have to ruin your evening hanging out with some chick just to distract her. The benefit is that your boy gets to tag up on the actual target chick AND that you feel your boy would do the same thing for you if you met a girl you wanted to bring back to the hot tub and the only way she was coming over was if she brought her Grenade-ass girlfriend with her.

So.. Regardless of her looks, she had to be stopped from destroying Mike’s rap, so she was named “The Grenade”.

The GFF

The GFF is the Grenade-Free Foundation, which supports a Grenade-Free America. :D

That really doesn’t have anything to do with cockblockers. It actually has to do with the level of visual quality of the girls these guys pull from the club.

This season, Vinny said that Mike & Pauly would bring home stray dogs from the club if they couldn’t get anything else. Last season, Ronnie and his boys were snapping all over Mike & Pauly saying that nothing they brought home was anywhere near Sammi’s (housemate and Ronnie’s girlfriend) quality.

In their defense, the only girls that are going to show up on a television show are the ones that agree to sign the releases, so it’s entirely possible that MTV is only showing the Grenades the fellaz pull and never the hawt chicks because none of them agree to be shown.

So, the GFF is a state of mind, really… It’s one man’s resolve that if a chick isn’t what he considers to be an 8, 9, or 10 (rating her looks from 1-10, with 10 being the most attractive), he’s not bringing her home or trying to hook up with her.

The obvious problem with this is that guys would rather hook up with a 7, 6 or 5 than NOT HOOK UP with a better-looking female. It’s better to have mediocre-looking chicks in the hot tub than to get no rap at all from hawt girls.

Hunting

It’s all part of the game of Hunting.

When you hit the streets, you’re seeing what you can come up with for that night.

Due to circumstances or the environment, you might not even have access to a chick that’s better than a 6 the entire evening.

You might have access to 8′s or 9′s, but they’re not going for your rap style.. What then? \o/

It’s either hook up with the sub-par chicks that WANT to hook up with you or go home, go to sleep and try again tomorrow.

So.. Unfortunately, The GFF doesn’t exist except in the hearts and minds of guys that are willing to adhere to the terms of the concept.

It’s a fun thing to say… Grenade-Free America!!!! :D but it’s not realistic. Vinny may or may not have hooked up with Snooki this season and he was obviously embarrassed about having slept in the same bed with her… That’s what happens. That’s how life goes.

It’s nice to claim that you only hook up with hawt chicks, but that only works for two sets of guys.. The guys that ACTUALLY only hook up with top-notch-looking women and the guys that successfully keep their exploits with sub-par chicks under the hat.

Neither one of those categories apply to the dudes on ‘Jersey Shore’. :D HAHAHA The only reason you need to declare a Grenade-Free America is that you have to stop YOURSELF from partaking in the Grenades.

Unfortunately.. Methinks They Doth Protest Too Much because at the end of the night, several Grenades in the hot tub trumps zero FOYINE girls in the hot tub and the GFF or GFA will remain a state of mind that guys aspire to but never actually achieve.

What is a Cougar? How come this dating term only applies to females and not to males who exhibit the same behaviors?

Definition

According to Wikipedia, a Cougar is “a woman, 40 years of age or older, who pursues younger men, typically more than eight years her junior. The term is also commonly applied to women that are thirty or older.”

This is clearly a corny & simpe viewpoint. Urban Dictionary has some more definitions for us:

• An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man. The cougar can be anyone from an overly surgically altered wind tunnel victim, to an absolute sad and bloated old horn-meister, to a real hottie or MILF. Cougars are gaining in popularity — particularly the true hotties — as young men find not only a sexual high, but many times a chick with her **** together.
• (see also hunt, prowl, corner, pounce). Noun. A 35+ year old female who is on the “hunt” for a much younger, energetic, willing-to-do-anything male. The cougar can frequently be seen in a padded bra, cleavage exposed, propped up against a swanky bar in San Francisco (or other cities) waiting, watching, calculating; gearing up to sink her claws into an innocent young and strapping buck who happens to cross her path. “Man is cougar’s number one prey”
• An attractive woman in her 30′s or 40′s who is on the hunt once again. She may be found in the usual hunting grounds: nightclubs, bars, beaches, etc. She will not play the usual B.S. games that women in their early twenties participate in. End state, she will be going for the kill, just like you. Associated with MILFs.
• A woman in her sexual prime who prefers to hunt rather than be hunted. A cougar’s victims are usually under 25, as cougars prefer to mate with men who still have hair. Cougars generally feed and then continue hunting, as they enjoy role reversal.
• A Cougar is a female, usually between thirty and fifty years-old, who enjoys the sexual company of younger men. Cougars are only usually interested in men under the age of twenty-five. Also, Cougars are non-committal, choosing to move from mate to mate without ever settling down. It is not uncommon for the same Cougar to attack (sleep with) many different men in the same group of friends. Furthermore, Cougars are older and more practiced in the ways of snaring a mate so they will rarely broadcast their intentions to sleep with you until you are already in her Jetta, headed for the condo she just bought. It is this elusive behavior that earns her the name “Cougar.”
• Hot and sexy older woman, usually in her 40s or 50s, single or married, who is sick of her same-age counterparts which are usually hairless, have big guts, who only talk about their insurance premiums and have the TV remote control attached to their hands. Cougars are attractive, in their sexual prime, who know what they want and aren’t afraid to go after it. BIG misconception is that they dress cheap, wear hot pink nail polish, animal skin prints and are not-so-attractive old-looking hags with bleached hair (Yeah those women exist, but they are NOT cougars). True cougars are classy, beautiful creatures who have made their successes on their own, have real brains, usually with expensive cars/homes, and are real head turners. Cougars seek younger men, and don’t have to sneak up and attack…they know their younger mates are eager to get an experienced woman who won’t ask if they’ll call them the next day. Being a cougar is a positive thing.

Did you notice how this is like a crime scene where everyone has a different description of the perp? :D

She was 35.. No.. She was 50…
She was rich.. No.. She was broke…
She looked busted.. No.. She looked HAWT!!! :D

For the purpose of this discussion, I’m going to define a Cougar as a female that’s older than the male she’s kickin’ it to who has uncommon advantages over that male that she’s not “supposed” to have.

We need to keep the “older than” component, or the concept isn’t any fun. If you get served by a chick your age or younger, she was just smarter than you and your life sucks.

I’m willing to toss the “how much money she has” component and the “whether she looks good or not” component as those aren’t going to be primary issues during the locker-room talk debriefing the next day with his boys. As soon as he mentions that he hooked up with an older chick, the conversation could potentially stall there indefinitely as he attempts to explain why and save face in front of his friends who are dying to call him “desperate”.

The age component needs to be dropped lower because those mid-western grade-school teachers that keep getting busted for being in love with their 14-year-old (happy as HELL to get laid!!! :D) students already qualify as Cougars in their late 20′s.

So we need for the Cougar to be older, except we also need for her to have uncommon advantages in the relationship. Otherwise, she qualifies as a MILF, which is a similar, yet completely different fetish category.

MILFs

The acronym MILF stands for Mother I’d Like to ****. It’s a technically incorrect term because nobody cares whether the older chick has kids or not. The concept is more that she’s old enough to have kids or maybe that the way she looks, you would say “She’s old enough to be my mother” even though she might only be 5 years older than you are.

MILFs don’t have any advantages in relationships.

They’re just like regular females except they were born before you were. You don’t need to apply any special tactics for them. Actually, you can do even less as you imagine them to be relatively desperate and hungry for some male action.

MILFs are a fetish category because they’re not supposed to still be in The Game. They’re supposed to have had all the sex they’re going to have in their lives and now, their function is being somebody’s mother or a secretary or something.

The problem with this theory is that women supposedly peak sexually in their 30′s, so even though their looks might be way past their prime, they’re way more DTF (Down To ****) than younger girls who are still playing stupid games and frontin’ like they don’t want to hook up with you when you know that they’re dying to give you some.

So, a MILF is an older woman that you’re not supposed to be able to have sex with, but somehow you do.. Like, you go to some chick’s house to take her out to the club and she got stuck at the library studying so her mother invites you wait for her inside and you happen to hook up with the moms, probably including all sorts of stuff that her daughter wouldn’t have done for you anyway.

Or.. Maybe you decide to do your laundry late at night and this older gal is the only one in the laundromat and one thing leads to another…

These qualify as MILF encounters… Regular stuff, except it just so happens that the gal’s older than you are.

Cougars

A cougar, OTOH, is making moves from her own personal power. You have to imagine a Stella trying to get her Groove Back.

The Cougar knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. There’s an empty space she’s trying to fill… She’s looking to add an element to her already HAPPENIN’ lifestyle.

Unfortunately.. Unless you know how to tell the difference, a Cougar looks just like a MILF and you might could get caught slippin’. :D

It might be a part of her game plan to play that submissive “Oh.. I do declare!.. I think this whippersnapper’s trying to have sex with me! :O” role because she doesn’t want to scare you off by saying “Let’s get out of here” or asking you to accompany her to the bathroom of the bar and then locking both of y’all inside.

The trick to the Cougar is that “She don’t need you.. She’ll let the welfare feed you.”.. The tricks that usually work on women will actually leave you in a worse position than if you hadn’t tried to use them.

Declarations of love and promises of long-term relationships don’t have the pantie-dropping effect they’re supposed to. She’s not looking for Mr. Right.. She’s looking for Mr. Right Now. >:D

It’s also easy to miss it entirely when a Cougar propositions you because the way some of them press up is so subtle and slick. For instance, they might use the typical guy’s trick of feigning interest in your business so you have to.. what?.. Give her your business card.

After that, you need to talka about the business, right?.. Which is usually best discussed over what?.. Dinner. O_o

Of course, you need to meet at the restaurant’s bar before dinner, which leads to what?.. Drinks…

Next thing you know, you’ve gone on a full-fledged DATE with her and you can’t even accuse her of having asked you out! :D

So What?

What difference does any of this make? How come we need a special term for this behavior?

Cougars do what they want to do when they want to do it. If this attitude somehow permeated the female population, it would be a complete disaster for guys trying to get laid.

Sometimes, the only leverage you have is that she wants you to spend money on her or take her dancing or buy her a house.. The only carrot you have to dangle in front of her face is how much better her life will be if she hooks up with you. Take that away, and women would only give it up to guys they actually thought were sexy, and society as we know it goes down the tubes. :D

Once you label the behavior, you can convince people that it’s a deviant lifestyle and eventually even prescribe medication for it. mo money, Mo Money, MO MONEY!!! :D

More importantly, you can utilize the new distinction to brainwash girls that this is not who they want to be when they grow up.. A free-thinking, financially independent woman enjoying her life without being subservient to a man (unless that’s how she gets her kicks..) and getting involved with sex & relationships on her own terms.

It’s kind of like how they try to blackmail guys into selecting a girlfriend by telling us “You don’t want to end up as that old-ass man at the bar, do you?”

Speaking of which…

Male Cougars?

There is no similar term that means male that’s older than the female he’s kickin’ it to who has uncommon advantages over that female that he’s not “supposed” to have.

Guys are SUPPOSED to have lots of advantages over the women they’re dating. That’s the whole point of the mating ritual. She’s trying to make a come-up by latching onto a guy that’s better than her, taller than her, stronger than her, richer than her, with a better career than she has, owns more property than her, has better genes than her family does, etc etc etc.

The phrase women like to use is “I can do poorly all by myself!”

There’s no point in a woman latching onto a man who’s a lesser human being than she is unless she’s one of those people that enjoys telling people what to do. If that’s her idea of a fun relationship, then more power to her.

So there IS no Cougar-type term for guys because we date women as young as we like, so long as they’re legal in that particular state.

Will you ever see Hugh Hefner cold lampin’ with chicks his age? NOPE!.. He likes young chicks and can afford as many of them as he likes. There’s no term for that, except perhaps “The American Dream”. >:D

According to society’s standards, guys are SUPPOSED to be older than the gals they date. They’re supposed to be taller and smarter and richer… It’s not enough of an issue to warrant a particular label, just like women getting laid *WELL* isn’t enough of an issue to warrant the creation of brothels where women can go to Get Their Groove Back right quick and then get on with their business like men all over the world do every single day of life.

According to a recent Time/CNN article, the Cougar craze is a myth… What do YOU think? O_o

7. Stop running your mouth for no reason

This brings us to tip #10, which is:

10. Intelligence is Sexy

If you’re going for the “Dumb Blonde” rap style, quit that. There are too many dumb girls to begin with that first of all are much better than you at being dumb because it’s natural to them and second, all you’re doing is making yourself look typical by dumbing yourself down. If you know everything about Physics or Day Trading or H.A.L.O. or Web Design, KICK THAT ISH!!! :D

A guy might be intimidated by what you’re saying, but he simultaneously has to respect it. You’ve delved further into certain realms than he ever has or likely ever will. He might not TELL YOU, but it’s a great thing to be able to learn something from a gal. :)

Same thing with travel. If you’ve been to India & China & Aspen Colorado, don’t keep interesting stuff like that to yourself so as not to embarrass some dude that isn’t well-traveled. Impress him with the knowledge & experience you’ve amassed from places he intends to never visit.

Ultimately, if a guy is scared of the possibility of your being smarter than he is or more successful than he is or making more money than he is, that’s not the right guy for you because eventually you’re gonna get tired of his low self-esteem in the same way that guys get tired of gals’ low self-esteem.

A guy should be happy about and APPRECIATIVE OF aligning himself with an impressive female. If you look at any of the warrior movies, Gladiator, 300, Rob Roy.. All of the top guys have top-level women that wouldn’t just back them up but would actually be AHEAD OF THEM in battle if they could be.

As far as Long-Term Relationships, *None* of the best guys select weak females from the pool of women available to them. \o/ That would be like buying a row boat when you can afford a yacht.

A dude that only wants to date a weak chick is a weak dude. Let people know who you are, what you do and what you know so the guys that are looking for someone respectable & impressive can seek you out and throw their hats in the ring. ;)

Gina Carano is going to fight Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos this Saturday, August 15th, 2009 for the Strikeforce Women’s Championship.

Now, I’m not much into making predictions on blogs, but I thought I’d throw in my two cents here ahead of time so I can compare it to what happens during the actual fight.

Unfortunately… (or, fortunately, for some of us :D), American media, and probably media everywhere else in the world puts a lot of value on physical, visual attractiveness. I think that’s a good idea when it comes to commercials and modeling, but a VERY BAD IDEA when it comes to fighting.

Every time I hear about Gina, they’re talking about how cute she is and how she’s “The Face of the Sport”, yadda yadda…

Every time I hear about Cris, they’re talking about how she’s a savage and has been mauling every chick in her path.

Unfortunately, the way the fight game works, as I’ve watched through Boxing and now Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), it’s a ladder-based system where you make sure the best avoid the best until you can make a superfight and make a lot of good money from it. Because of this, I haven’t been able to see Carano & Santos go up against the same calibre fighters in order to attempt to accurately judge what should happen when they meet on Saturday.

Of course, this issue is exacerbated by the fact that there just aren’t very many women that are allowed to fight on television. As far as I know, there are ZERO women in the UFC, ZERO women in the WEC (which appears to be the minor leagues of the UFC?), I saw some rarely when Bodog used to have a show, and you see women fight now and then in Strikeforce, where this fight is going to take place.

Therefore… Basically due to a lack of female fight promotion, this is about to decide the female MMA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, very much in the same way that the World Football Champions are decided by the NFL, because there’s no viable competition anywhere else in the world.

The other question is “Where do they go from here?”. What can Strikeforce do to top themselves after this? I think they’d better hope that the fight’s really competitive so that people clamor for a rematch and they can drag this “rivalry” out for a couple of years.

Hopefully, what’s going to happen is that more people will see female fights as entertaining and request more women in the fighting organizations. Any decisions made are going to depend on how much money there is to make from female fights, so we’ll see how things turn out.

As far as my prediction for Saturday……. I’m rooting for Carano, because I’ve been following her longer.. Except I’ve been fully impressed with the ass-whippings that Cyborg Santos has been handing out to any chick that would like to step up and receive one. :D I haven’t been able to see them fight the same quality women, so I don’t have a good handle on this, but it appears to me that Cris is just too strong/brutal for Gina. I’ve seen Gina battle with other chicks. I haven’t seen Cris in trouble AT. ALL… Not that I’ve seen all of her fights.

I would love to see Gina win an unanimous decision over Cris, but realistically, my prediction is referee stoppage in the 4th round, declaring Cris Cyborg the winner, TKO via strikes.

Another issue here, though is that this fight is going to be five 5-minute rounds. For some odd reason, they’ve been forcing women to fight 3-minute rounds, which is obviously going to make this fight tougher to predict as far as stamina. Non-title fights are 3 rounds, meaning that men get to fight 15 minutes, while women only have 9 minutes to make it happen.

The obvious problem here is that when you decide to make a championship fight where women are going to fight five 5′s.. They now have to last for 25 minutes, or almost THREE TIMES AS LONG as their normal fights (3×9 being 27 minutes). The guys in the same situation don’t even have to fight TWICE as long (15×2 being 30 minutes), so this is really pretty retarded and they need to make it so that women are fighting 3x5s in their regular fights just like the men.

So this could throw a major wrench in my prediction, depending on which one of the ladies shows up with better cardio on Saturday. If Cyborg gasses out, I’m changing my prediction to Carano by tapout due to Rear Naked Choke late in the 4th round! :D

Either way, I’m about to enjoy my ass off! :D

According to police reports, someone who shall remain nameless in this post was shot to death by his 20-year-old girlfriend recently.

Since people have been waiting for this to happen to ME for a quarter-century already, I thought I’d throw in my two cents on the situation in general.

I have no opinion on the situation in PARTICULAR, because I didn’t know either person involved and I wasn’t there, so I have no idea what went on. Besides that, one particular incident isn’t as important as the overall problem…. That problem being…..

Young Chicks Are Dangerous… BELEEDAT!!! :D

Guys

I’ve written a lot of funny stuff about the systematic emasculation of the American male in an attempt to laugh instead of crying or getting mad at something I have ZERO control over. Until this incident, I didn’t see it as something dangerous to guys.. only something that would make their lives progressively worse as generations progress. You can hear it in the music. We’ve gone from Metal to Grunge to whatever classification Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit was to less and less aggressive music, arriving finally at stuff like Hipster music, Auto-Tune R&B begging and lying music and any kind of Rap that won’t be saying anything useful at all, but will get the girls to shake their asses on the dance floor and give it up without condoms.

Garbage.

Meanwhile, some feminists are laughing all the way to the bank, and they very well should be if you consider this a “Market Correction” against all the unfair practices that have been heaped upon women since, like.. forever. The media’s doing a really good job of removing all traces of aggression from their portrayals of males. No more “Miami Vice”, with Crockett & Tubbs…. oh… meaning DON JOHNSON and PHILLIP MICHAEL THOMAS, *NOT* Colin Farrell & Jamie Foxx….. What we get NOW is a bunch of dudes that don’t even get CALLED UP until the crime is OVER, and then they use their MINDS to figure out whodunnit and sit across desks, mentally defeating their opponents without having to lay a finger, and GOD FORBID a bullet on them.

Girls

Meanwhile… Girls are being taught that they can do whatever they want. Again, this is necessary to pump up their self-esteem and effect the necessary “Market Correction” to attempt to create an even playing field between men and women, socially as well as in the business world. Unfortunately, it also creates a completely unrealistic view of life for them.

Their concept of life is only sustainable as long as they remain in the company of people that were raised the same way. Once they step outside of that environment or that environment steps away from them without them noticing, they’re suddenly ill-prepared to deal with the potential nastiness of real life. An example of this that gets played out every single weekend across the country is when a girl that’s used to getting BLITZED (very drunk) with her friends does the exact same actions when her friends aren’t around or they’re not paying attention to her and she ends up getting used.

You can say all you want that things like that SHOULDN’T happen, and I agree with you that they SHOULDN’T, but the fact of the matter is that they DO. Every. Single. Day. Don’t take my word for it. Read the papers. Watch the news. Read blogs. Ask your friends. It’s a daily operation. A percentage of those situations would have been avoided if SOMEONE would have told those girls “If guys catch you slippin’, they’re going to use you”. Every chick that I know that I’ve had a REAL conversation with about this issue will tell you I’ve told them exactly that and that they need to remain vigilant, keep their business close to the vest, and watch their own backs.

Unfortunately, most people want to pump this shangri-la version of reality in which nothing ever happens to ‘nobody’, and ESPECIALLY not to girls or women. This, of course, gasses chicks’ heads up into believing that a) they’re invincible, by birthright as a female and because everyone’s been telling them so since they were small children, and b) even if they’re proven NOT to be invincible, whatever guys happen to be in the nearby area will hop-to and get her out of whatever problem *SHE* started.

FINE Girls

This problem’s even WORSE if a girl grows up cute and/or sexy (Yes, those are two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT qualities). NOW, every guy in the street wants God to bless her…… Every guy in the street wants to open the door. Every guy wants to give her their number. Every guy wants to take her out. Every guy wants to do her favors. Every guy wants to buy her stuff. Every guy wants to “Wife her up” HAHAHAHA .. NO-BOD-DEE wants to tell her that ANYTHING she does is wrong, lest they blow their chance to get laid with a fine chick.

Now, you have a compound issue (until she gets older and becomes a has-been), because now, she’s invincible AND greedy. :D Since all these guys want to buy her stuff and take her out and give her money, assuming that all other things are equal she may as well hook up with the best provider. That’s all well and good, except she’s still riding that fantasy wave of everything going her way. That’s not often REALITY when it comes to relationships. Sometimes, things happen to her when she’s not yet mentally prepared to take a loss gracefully…..

Kids

While aggression has been syphoned from the American male in general, it’s been aggressively removed from child discipline, first in the schools and ultimately in homes. At this point, if you’re known to hit your kids, you’re basically an instant pariah. Just add water.

It’s because of this that kids, male and female, grow up thinking “If my parents aren’t going to touch me, nobody else is either”. You hear it all the time… “You’re Not My Father!!!”.. Even to guys that picked up the slack and stepped in when some deadbeat ******* decided he didn’t want to raise his own children. The guy that’s putting clothes on your back, a roof over your head, food on your table and money in your mother’s pocket, and he can’t get that respect, because he’s not biologically responsible for you breathing?

I don’t have any kids, but I was one. I remember being immortal and invincible. I did anything I wanted, whenever I wanted…. um… so long as it didn’t get back around to my Dad!!! :D hahahaha The only reason I have any sense at all of where the buck stops is because I had an authority figure that I grew up respecting because I had to, not because I chose to. At this point, kids know damned well that if teachers or parents even YELL at them too loudly, they can drop dime on them and solve the situation without having to handle their own business. What they learn from this is that they don’t have to be RESPONSIBLE for themselves. If life isn’t going your way, call someone up, and they’ll change things for you while you drink soda that you didn’t pay for on the porch.

Entitlement

All of these factors lead to feelings of ENTITLEMENT. Everything’s supposed to go your way. Nobody’s supposed to get away with things you don’t like. There’s GOT TO BE SOMEONE who will change the situation for you under all circumstances, right?… RIGHT?…

This is why young, fine chicks are DANGEROUS. :D DANGEROUS!!!… Because they’re not ready to lose. They’re not mentally prepared to take a loss. It’s never happened to them before.. not on a grand scale. They still think they’re in control.. of anything and EVERYTHING. On top of that, the media tells them every day that the guy they’re dating isn’t going to do anything to them, even if she physically assaults him.. So, as far as shes concerned, the sky’s the limit as far as what she’s willing to do to you to get her way.

You don’t want to be the first major loss a chick takes. Period. Just like you don’t want to be the first to “get in”, because she’ll never get over it, you don’t want to be there for the experience that jars her into reality. Even if it’s a temporary recognition, it’s a dangerous state for her to be in… Dangerous FOR YOU, that is. :D

Whatever you just told her she can’t have that she believes she’s ENTITLED to… If she can’t figure out a rational way to get the train back on the right track, she could very well snap, temporarily or permanently. Most guys aren’t going to be aware of this, because they’re not really listening to what their girls are saying anyway. They just figure they can come out their face with “It’s over” or “I’m not divorcing my wife” or “I’m not paying for the kid” or “I changed my mind, I’m not taking you to Cancun” or whatever and it’s gonna be all lovely and status quo. Meanwhile, he doesn’t realize he just set off her “Get what I want, by any means necessary” trigger.

That same feeling that made her throw that book at her teacher and call the cops on her own parents for not letting her go to the sleepover is now telling her to figure out how to get you back for what you just said or did to her. This is why you don’t want to be around the first time she experiences this. There’s no telling what’s going to happen. There are some chicks, that when they say “I don’t want to live without you”, they actually mean it. They might decide to take YOU along for the ride.

On top of that, there are A LOT of dumb dudes out there that are willing to do A LOT of dumb things on the promise of some ass from a fine chick, so you might find out your problem isn’t only with her, but instead with some dudes that you never even saw before and have ZERO beef with, whatsoever.

Solutions

The solution to this problem is to make sure you don’t tap that until she mentally stabilizes. Be her friend, hang out with her, coach her, be there for her, just don’t become the center of her universe until you feel like she MIGHT be able to handle it if you broke up, or whatever else might trigger an episode for her.

Another relatively good solution is to STOP LYING TO CHICKS! :D We all know how easy it is to get on with a lie and then hope she goes away before realizing what happened. Put your cards on the table and keep things real with her so she can make her own educated decision about whether to mess with you or not. At the very least, when she tries to blame you for something, she also has to blame herself, because you told her so to her face ahead of time.

Another good idea is to utilize Checks & Balances to verify her mental state via endorsements from several mutual friends. Don’t just listen to ONE friend, because they might know she’s crazy and they’re trying to pawn her off on you before she goes berserk on THEM! :D Make sure they’ve seen her lose something… ANYTHING!.. A job, a game of badminton, backgammon, SOMETHING! I remember finding out A LOT about a homegirl of mine by trouncing her a few times in a row playing pool, and I’m not even GOOD at pool. She thought she was going to beat me (and so did I, haha), she didn’t and then she didn’t and then she didn’t again and she basically got so mad she turned into a different person….

A fourth plan is to actually TALK to women and find out what they’re looking to get out of life in general and a relationship with YOU in particular. If you hear some things that you don’t see yourself providing her, especially rings and kids, you might want to batten down the hatches and take a PASS on this one. Also, if hooking up seems like it’ll be a way more special event to her than it will be to you, bounce. Stick her in the friend zone until she’s taken a few losses and finally comes around to seeing things your way…. well…. Either that, or she’s in jail for killing SOMEBODY ELSE!!! :D
