Ron Paul clearly won last night’s CNN Republican debate.

Watch this 28-second video to understand why. :D

<g:plusone size="tall" count="1" href="http://billcammack.com/2012/02/23/ron-paul-wins-last-nights-cnn-republican-debate/"></g:plusone>

Ron Paul FTW

Ron Paul clearly won last night’s CNN Republican debate.

Watch this 28-second video to understand why. :D

YouTube Link => youtu.be/YZPexbzJUU4

If you didn’t/couldn’t see the video, here’s what’s said in it:

John King: “Congressman Paul, you’ve questioned the Conservative.. Fiscal Conservative credentials of all these gentlemen, but particularly this week, senator Santorum. You have a new television ad that labels him a fake…. Why?”

Ron Paul: “Because he’s a fake! :D HAHAHAHAHA”

Crowd Cheers, Laughs, and Applauds.

The point being, instead of doing sucker moves like Romney and putting up all kinds of negative advertisements about other candidates and then playing it off IN PERSON like as if you didn’t have anything to do with it, Ron Paul not only took responsibility for his advertisement, but he backed it up, called Santorum a fake TO HIS FACE, since he was sitting right next to him, and then proceeded to explain *WHY* he’s a fake:

Ron Paul: “I find it really fascinating that, uh, when people are running for office, they’re really fiscally conservative. When they’re in office, they do something different, and then when they explain themselves, they say ‘Oh! I want to repeal that’.

So, the senator voted for “No Child Left Behind”, but, NOW, he VOTED FOR IT, but now he’s running on the effort to get rid of it.. So.. I think the record is SO BAD, for the politicians.”

My friend Charles always complains and cries when I say “Ron Paul isn’t electable.” :D

I would like to explain that what I mean is that Ron Paul is too REAL for the voters. Voters are used to politicians that lie to their faces and then do whatever they feel like doing once they get elected. Voters are used to representatives that vote AGAINST their being able to get jobs when they need jobs. Voters are used to politicians that don’t mind poisoning the water where you live so they can make money somewhere else. The problem is that they find out about these situations *AFTER* the politician is elected, not *BEFORE*. :D

So, when Ron Paul says we should bring the troops fighting unnecessary foreign wars back to the USA so they can patrol the Mexican border, That’s. What. He. Means. and people are shocked by it. Therefore, they’re more likely to vote for the candidate that lies to their face or avoids the question so that you NEVER know what he or she thinks about a topic until it’s too late.

So, when Ron Paul pays for an ad that calls Santorum a fake, that’s because That’s. What. He. Means., and he’s willing to say it to his face, and he has the evidence to back up his claims.

YouTube Link => youtu.be/cgNJBdTaKE8

Meanwhile, the other three dudes are sitting there smiling in each other’s faces like as if they haven’t made attack ads and ENTIRE FILMS trying to disrespect each other.

Ron Paul won last night’s CNN Republican debate because he demonstrated that he’s WYSIWYG.

What You See Is What You Get.

We have an authenticity problem with the other three candidates, Gingrich, Santorum, and Romney. This is why this prolonged Republican nomination process has been, and will continue to be the single most important factor leading to President Obama’s reelection…. The more the candidates speak, the more they contradict themselves, the more stupid statements they make when they go off of the script that their handlers trained them to follow, and the more they alienate just about every demographic you can think of.

Can I Get A Witness?

On top of that, they waste time “preaching to the choir”.

What I mean by that is that you have four dudes who are trying to get YOU to select THEM instead of the other three dudes on the stage, right? :D .. How come they like to say Obama’s name so much? o_O

If you’re on the stage at a REPUBLICAN DEBATE, against OTHER REPUBLICANS, you should already assume that everyone sitting there, as well as everyone that tuned in to the program (except the people that find it entertaining when you make asshats out of yourselves) is ALREADY DOWN WITH THE PROGRAM of attempting to make President Barack Obama a “One-Term President”.

Therefore, the time you spend mentioning his name… is *WASTED*, because it doesn’t cause anybody listening to you to dislike Obama, *AND* it doesn’t cause anyone who already dislikes Obama to have any more reason to nominate *YOU* than they did before you decided to hop on tha dilznick and talk about Obama some more.

In fact.. From now on, keep listening to a) the debates, and b) the candidates’ interviews on television, and c) their sound bites on the news, and you’ll notice that they say Obama’s name all the time, but they NEEEEEEEEEEEEVER mention Bush. o_O hehe What’s up with that? :D

Every time a Republican wants to mention a Republican President, they take it all the way back to Reagan. Don’t take my word for it. Just listen to them. See how many times they bring up Bush’s name… Like EITHER ONE OF THEM, because there were TWO Bush Presidents!!! :D

What’s worse is that by keeping mentioning Obama’s name, they keep reminding people that OBAMA EXISTS, which automatically calls up a direct comparison between them and him, which makes them look even worse than they already do.

Side Note: You’ll notice I didn’t say they’re pale by comparison. hehehe (boooooo, hisssssss, corny! :/) hehehe >:D

But seriously folks, :D The Republicans aren’t doing themselves any good by mentioning their opposition so much. Do you see that in commercials? Are there Hyundai commercials where they say “You shouldn’t buy a Porsche because…” No! haha They don’t want you to *REMEMBER* that Porsche EXISTS if they’re trying to get you to purchase a Hyundai.
–

<g:plusone size="tall" count="1" href="http://billcammack.com/2012/01/04/2012-iowa-caucus-results/"></g:plusone>

Here are the reported Iowa Caucus results:

Romney: 30,015 votes (25%)
Santorum: 30,007 votes (25%)
Paul: 26,219 votes (21%)
Gingrich: 16,251 votes (13%)
Perry: 12,604 votes (10%)
Bachmann: 6,073 votes (05%)
Huntsman: 745 votes (01%)
Cain: 58 votes (I heard a Fox News broadcaster mention this, but haven’t seen it in a chart)

What Had Happened Was…

I had predicted Paul, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry, Bachmann, Huntsman, Cain, so the top 4 got jumbled and the bottom four were correct.

Cain was going to be last, because he’s out of the race now, but he had qualified for Iowa before he dropped out.

Huntsman was going to be next to last, because he wasn’t campaigning in Iowa at all.

Bachmann was going to be next, because as soon as Perry entered the race, he became Bachmann+Male and soaked up all her votes.

On top of that, the difference between them is that Perry tries to freestyle and fails miserably. Bachmann doesn’t try to freestyle. She just memorizes and regurgitates, which is why she always says the exact same things in the exact same order every time you ask her, like Rosie The Robot.

<img style="float:left" src="http://billcammack.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Jetsons.jpg"

Perry was going to be next, because he just doesn’t “have it” to be The President.

That was obvious as soon as he started speaking, and became more and more evident in each debate.

Gingrich landed where he did because of elements I hadn’t been aware of.

First of all, the Republican Establishment doesn’t want him to represent them, fearing that he’ll set such a bad example that they’ll lose seats in Congress, not to mention lose the general election to President Obama.

Second, Gingrich had received a religious endorsement, but Romney’s “Super PAC” flooded Iowa Television with scathing advertisements about Gingrich (and Ron Paul added to it, and Perry a little bit, too) that caused his standings in the polls to plummet.

Gingrich didn’t have any money to create and air his own ads to either defend against Romney’s attacks or to attack Romney, so he took a short and lost a lot of potential votes.

Also, I heard there was an incessant Robo-Calling campaign, where people’s phones kept ringing off the hook with messages suggesting whom they should vote for.

The residual effect is that Gingrich is mad now, and should start retaliating against Romney, ASAP. >:D

I think my Ron Paul prediction was off because 41% of the people being polled said they hadn’t made up their minds, the day before the caucus.

That’s something the pundits don’t like to talk about. When you have 22% of the people in your poll saying they’d vote for Romney, that’s only 22% out of 60% of your sample pool.

“UNDECIDED” has been the front-runner in the Republican race for a very long time, which makes them look dumb, so nobody wants to talk about it.

Anyway, I think the undecided people decided to vote for a candidate that can probably actually win the nomination, which Ron Paul can’t, because his views, though heartfelt, are too radical to win an American general election, and everybody knows this.

Santorum basically tied Romney for the win, having lost to him by only 8 votes (30,015 to 30,007). This is because he scored an important endorsement:

Rick Santorum Gets Big Boost From Iowa Christian Conservative Leaders

URBANDALE, Iowa: Rick Santorum received a big Iowa endorsement Tuesday that should help rally the splintered Christian evangelical community here around him. A social conservative leader in the state, Bob Vander Plaats, backed the former Pennsylvania senator just two weeks before the caucuses here, calling him “the Huckabee in this race.”

“I saw him as a champion for the family in the U.S. House, I saw him as a champion for the family in the U.S. Senate. I saw him as a champion for the family on the campaign trail,” Vander Plaats said. “I believe Rick Santorum comes from us, just not to us, he comes from us.”

Vander Plaats heads up the Family Leader, which has not endorsed a candidate before this campaign but said they would this time. But the board deliberated up until last night and “reached unanimity,” according to Vander Plaats, that the organization would not make an endorsement. Chuck Hurley, who heads the Iowa Family Policy Center, part of the Family Leader, also chose to endorse Santorum outside the organization.

Before this happened, Santorum was nowhere. Congrats to him on what I consider a WIN that was stolen from him, but he’s going to have major problems going forward, unless he scores religious endorsements in every single contest from now on.

He also doesn’t have any money, so when Romney decides to have his Super PAC step on Santorum’s neck, it’s all over.

BTW.. “PAC” stands for Political Action Committee => en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_action_committee

What Difference Does It Make?

The so-called winner in Iowa was/is Mitt Romney.

He won with 25% of the vote. Interestingly, this parallels his polling numbers this entire time. He hasn’t been able to get higher than 25% this entire time.. Nowhere.

In fact, according to Boston.com: “Last night, he didn’t expand his base of support beyond what he brought in four years ago. In 2008, when nearly 120,000 votes were cast, Romney got 29,949 votes, or 25.2 percent. Last night, he reached almost exactly the same overall total and percentage. An Iowa GOP official said there would be no recount.”

Of course, this means that 75% of the Republicans that participated tonight voted for Not-Romney.

As far as delegates, this basically means that Romney will get 13 and Santorum will get 12. If they had given the win to Santorum, he would have had one more delegate. So what? The first contests hand out delegates proportionally, as opposed to winner-take-all. According to the Las Vegas Sun:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won most of the delegates in the Iowa Republican caucuses Tuesday, edging former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

Iowa’s delegates to the national convention are not bound by the results of the caucuses. But an Associated Press analysis showed Romney would win 13 and Santorum would win 12, if there were no changes in their support as the campaign wears on.

Twenty-five delegates were at stake in the caucuses. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas came in third in the voting but was shut out of delegates because he didn’t win any of Iowa’s four congressional districts.

Romney and Santorum each won two congressional districts, and Romney was the statewide winner by a mere eight votes, according to final results announced early Wednesday by the Iowa GOP.

A total of 2,286 delegates are slated to go to the party’s national convention. Support from a majority _ 1,144 _ is needed to claim the Republican nomination to take on incumbent President Barack Obama.

So, Romney received 13 delegates out of the 2,286 that he needs = nothing.

The most important thing that happened tonight is that these people who keep talking all this yang, who are clearly not viable candidates and never were, are going to have to step aside after their poor showings in Iowa.

I predicted incorrectly that Santorum would be gone after this, but that was before he scored the Christian endorsement and surged forward to what I consider a win tonight.

Bachmann, however, got as many votes as she should have gotten. The only two candidates that received fewer than her 6,073 votes are Jon Huntsman, who wasn’t even campaigning in Iowa, with 745 votes, and Herman Cain, who dropped out of the race ENTIRELY three weeks ago, and *still* received 58 votes.

58 people voted for Cain instead of Bachmann, and he’s not even involved anymore. :D .. Get a clue. Exit the race gracefully.

Rick Perry made his exit speech:

YouTube Link => youtu.be/D2UFr-fNMa4

Perry received twice as many votes as Bachmann (12,604 to 6,073). He said: “With the voters’ decision tonight, in Iowa, I’ve decided to return to Texas, assess the results of tonight’s caucus, determine whether there is a path forward for myself in this race.”

As people, I think the Republican candidates are ok. Like, they’re real people, if you remove them from the process of attempting to be the elected leader of the United States of America. They’re actually personable when you see them talking to people in a regular fashion, instead of regurgitating slogans about Obama and reciting stock party lines.

Good Luck to Rick Perry, and to Herman Cain also, and to Michele Bachmann when she finally makes her speech. :D

Welcome To New Hampshire

Moving forward, we have Ron Paul, who’s in a class all by himself.. We have Mitt Romney, who has always been the only viable candidate that the Republicans fielded this cycle.. And we have Gingrich and Santorum, who are going to battle it out for the religious vote, now that Perry’s not going to be involved.

I still say that Santorum will be the next one out of the race. He doesn’t have any money to defend against Romney’s negative ad campaigns. He doesn’t have time to visit every district in every state in the country, like he did in Iowa. This situation was a fluke. If Gingrich would have received the religious endorsement instead of Santorum, Gingrich would have won and Santorum would have been wallowing down in Bachmannville with almost no votes.

Ron Paul will stay in as long as his money lasts. He’s not a real candidate, but he’s bringing important topics to the table, so his supporters will continue to support him. He may end up running as a 3rd-party candidate when he finally gets bumped from the Republican roster.

Gingrich will hang in there long enough to exact some good revenge against Romney for trashing his reputation in Iowa merely to receive 13 delegates. >:D haha This is gonna be good! :D

Huntsman comes online in New Hampshire. I’m hoping he’ll make a good showing there! :D

Huntsman: No One Cares About Iowa

PETERBOROUGH, N.H – Even before the results were in, Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman had a message for whoever won the Iowa caucus: “Welcome to New Hampshire. Nobody cares.”

Huntsman skipped Tuesday’s Iowa caucuses and was counting on a strong showing in the Jan. 10 New Hampshire primary to keep his campaign afloat.

Huntsman finished up his final day of having New Hampshire to himself with a crowded town hall meeting in Peterborough, where a voter asked him what he’d say to the Iowa winner. His short answer — “Welcome to New Hampshire. Nobody cares” — was a bit more direct than he had been in recent days. He has said the rest of the country will forget the Iowa results within days if not hours.

Showing off a more aggressive speaking style, Huntsman won sustained applause from the crowd of about 350 when he repeated his stump speech promise not to pander to voters by “signing all those silly pledges like all the other candidates.” And he answered “Hell, no!” when asked if he’d bail out banks if they sought help to deal with foreign debt.

“I can’t even believe I’m standing here!” he exclaimed at one point, reveling in what likely was the largest crowd he has attracted so far.

The former Utah governor insists that New Hampshire, not Iowa, will send a strong message about electability, but he continues to lag far behind the New Hampshire front-runner, Mitt Romney.

In a perfect world, Huntsman would defeat Romney, and we’d have an interesting contest between Jon Huntsman and Barack Obama for the Presidency. :)

In reality, I doubt that’s what’s going to happen. Gingrich is the most serious politician out of the group, and he got completely demolished by Romney’s Super PAC’s commercials. I can’t see any of the other Republican candidates being able to stand up to them either.

Money Talks.

The only question that remains is how long before the rest of the candidates quit and it becomes Romney vs. Obama.

Last cycle, Romney quit on February 07, 2008. That leaves a full month for Huntsman, Gingrich, Paul, and Santorum to bounce before we have a repeat performance of the trouncing that McCain and Palin received from Obama.

<g:plusone size="tall" count="1" href="http://billcammack.com/2011/03/05/winning-bullying-and-political-correctness/"></g:plusone>

Thanks to Charlie Sheen, we’ve been hearing a lot about Winning, lately.

We’ve also been hearing a lot of sour grapes about what he’s had to say about himself.

American society is “funny” like that. It’s pretty much cool for someone to WIN, unless they TELL YOU they’re winning. o_O

It’s also cool for other people to declare that you’re a winner, but you’re not allowed to say so yourself without people HATING the fact that you informed them that you’re winning. :D haha They don’t even hate that you’re winning, only that you essentially rubbed it in their faces.

The problem here is the exact same one as with Political Sex Scandals. Guys are elected to political office because they’re more efficient than you are at getting what they want, regardless of what the other team thinks… Then, these same guys are expected NOT to hook up with whatever females they want, regardless of what their wives think.

Those two mentalities don’t mesh. People need to stop being surprised when someone is born, raised, trained and groomed to WIN, and then, that winning lifestyle results in them doing or saying something INDICATIVE OF their actual lives, such as cheating on wives that they only married in the first place so they could rise in the ranks of politics (no such thing as a “single” President since the 1800s), or saying “I’m rich as **** and make millions of dollars PER WEEK, so I can afford as many hawt girls as I want, and there’s nothing you can do about it other than watch me and my family on televison and in films and keep paying us our royalties, beyotch! >:D”.

Meanwhile, if some drone on Entertainment Tonight says “Charlie Sheen reportedly receives 1.8 MILLION DOLLARS to appear in a single sitcom episode”, you go “Damn! haha What a lucky guy! I wish I were him! :D”

Winning

Personally, I’m addicted to winning.

I was born to win. I was born TO WINNERS. I was raised to win. I was trained to win. I love to win. I hate to lose. I never go anywhere or do anything without the full intention of WINNING. I intend to get the most I can get out of a situation. I intend to be the best I can be at whatever I’m doing.

Does this mean I never lose? Hellz naw. I lose all the time. I lose every day. This is because my sights are set so high that anything else than the win I envisioned is a LOSS to me.

I never lose when I’m working. I’m the closer. I’m the go-to guy. I’m the guy that will put in 16 hours a day on your project for three days in a row, to make sure your project’s completed properly and on time, and then you’re gonna owe me a whole hell of a lot of money for my time and attention to YOUR problem.

I can’t afford to lose when I’m editing. There’s no such thing as MOST of a television show. o_O You either complete it or you don’t. 1 or 0. Win or Lose. I intend and expect to win. Every Time.

I can’t afford it. My clients can’t afford it. If I don’t KNOW I’m going to win a situation, there’s no point in my accepting the job.

I’ve been teaching myself audio engineering for nearly a year now. I used to engineer for my friends Doc & Orlando at their studio “Sample Kings” back in the day, but today’s technology is a completely different beast, and there was a lot for me to learn.

The internet has made it insanely easy for me to find and absorb information. Back in the day, I used to have to go to the music library down at Lincoln Center, because they had all the magazines, like Mix, where I could learn about new hardware and mixing boards, and read interviews with the people who were actually makin’ it happen.

This meant that A LOT OF TIME WAS WASTED, traveling back and forth to the library, and I could only get new information at the rate that the magazines were published, and only about what they elected to discuss that month.

It also meant that I received a completely biased viewpoint. The only things published in magazines are FAVORABLE to what they’re advertising or showcasing. How many times have you seen negative testimonials? o_O How many times have you seen a commercial on television for a film that included anything but “WOW!.. STELLAR!!.. FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!! :D”?

Now, learning is instantaneous. I want to know something, and I drop in to http://www.gearslutz.com/board/ or http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/andy-sneap-151/, and not only is the information there about the technology or techniques, but there are lively, informative discussions, pro AND con, amongst people that have actually already done what I’m thinking about doing.

Drive

The reason I bring this up in this article is.. I’m not learning mixing / engineering so I can be Good or OK at making records.. I’m learning it so I can be THE BEST at making records. Nothing else makes any sense to me or is worth anything to me at all.

Does that mean I’m actually going TO BE the best at it? Definitely not. I’m not the best at video editing, either.

What I’m saying is that my VISION is being the best. My actual goal is to be as good as I want to be, which for me, amounts to “I made it as far as I wanted to, and I can do anything I want with music, to my personal satisfaction. I’m the best I can be right now for the amount of effort and focus I put into this”.

However, the Drive comes from the Vision. Video Editing and Music aren’t the best fields to use for this example, because they’re so subjective.. They’re really actually art. You can’t really say one artist is better than another one without defining certain parameters. Without those parameters, a stick figure drawing could be better than an elaborate oil painting because it gets the point across or expresses the artist’s emotion more accurately or acutely.

Having said that.. When I become aware of someone who’s great at a skill that I’m currently striving to add to my personal repertoire, I’m not built to feel that I want to be OK at what they do. I’m not built to want to be as good as they are. I’m built to want to be BETTER than they are.. RIGHT NOW. IMMEDIATELY. >:D It actually bothers me that I’m NOT better than they are, which is what sends me back to the drawing board to put in another 16 hours of learning and improving myself.

When I feel like I’m as good as I want to be, that’s when I relax. That’s when I’m content, and I can enjoy my newly-developed skillz. Until that time, it’s GAME ON!!! >:D

If I give someone the short version of that information, and say “I’m studying to be a mix engineer”, they will be entirely, 100% in my corner. They’re going to cheer and pat me on the back and say “Way to go! :D” and wish me luck and ask me what they can do to help me.

If I tell someone “I’ve never mixed a record that sold one single copy ever in life, however, I’m in the process of becoming the best mix engineer on this planet”, people are going to HATE and talk behind my back and say that I’m arrogant and delusional and blah blah blah and they’re going to hope and pray that I don’t succeed.

Same exact information. Different delivery. Different result. Love vs Hate.

To make matters worse, if AAAAAAAANYONE ELSE says “Bill’s ******* GOOD at mixing! :O”, I will receive my propers. I will receive accolades and pats on the back and I will be publicized through people’s Facebook and Twitter accounts to no foreseeable end.

Bullying

Another recent fad has been the focus on bullying, which is basically the same thing as bragging that you’re a winner, but taking it to physically or psychologically abusive levels.

It will be interesting to see if all these vigils and rallies and protests have any effect whatsoever on basic human nature, especially amongst kids.

American society teaches us “Win, if you can.”

Everything you ever experience, growing up as a kid here is “The USA is better than everyone else on the entire ******* planet”.

Dave Chappelle: “U.N.? You have a problem with that? Know what you should do? You should sanction me.. Sanction me with your army….. OH!! WAIT A MINUTE!.. You don’t HAVE an army! :D .. I guess that means you need to shut the **** up! :D”

Our whole entire lives are BASED on bullying. Like ‘Ashy Larry’ said in the video, “Word to everything we LOVE, we’re coming to see y’all, SUNN!” Might makes right. Majority rules. To the victor belong the spoils.

In the politics of the United States, a spoil system (also known as a patronage system) is a practice where a political party, after winning an election, gives government jobs to its voters as a reward for working toward victory, and as an incentive to keep working for the party—as opposed to a system of awarding offices on the basis of some measure of merit independent of political activity.

The term was derived from the phrase “‘to the victor belong the spoils” by New York Senator William L. Marcy,[1][2][3] referring to the victory of the Jackson Democrats in the election of 1828.

We’re not trained to treat people fairly. The worst sports player gets picked last, if at all. The hawter-looking girls get more dates. The guy with the nice car can attract girls’ attention more easily… The only way around this is for PARENTS to teach their kids from day 01 to be nice to other kids and be fair to them, even if it’s clear that their child has a CLEAR advantage over someone else. Even then, the absorption of that code of ethics will come down to the kid’s actual personality, not how hard the parents strive to instill that belief system in them.

The USA is better than everybody. New York is better than all the other states. New York City is better than everywhere else in New York State. Manhattan is better than Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, or Staten Island (If you’ve never heard of those places, there are actually 5 boroughs that make up New York City, even though every time you see us on television, they only show Manhattan). Upper West Side is better than Harlem (Neighborhoods on Manhattan island). West End Avenue is better than Broadway (Streets within the Upper West Side). It never stops. There will always be reasons why people feel they’re better than someone else. All you can really hope to do about it is change how people process that information and react to people they naturally consider inferior.

Having said all that.. I think it’s a valuable quest for people to combat bullying. I’m saying that holding hands like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and singing songs together isn’t gonna cut it.

You’re dealing with something that’s way more ingrained than “Is it fair for you to do this to someone?”. It’s like telling a dude “You always spend time with attractive women.. You should date a few busted chicks so they have a chance to have a good time, too.” hahaha It doesn’t work like that.. Ain’t that type-a party. >:D

In fact, the qualities of a bully are the same as the qualities of a winner and the qualities of a politician. All three are programmed to WIN!!!.. It’s just that bullies “use their powers for evil” instead of for good. It’s not the people themselves that are the problem, but what they elect to do with their position in the pecking order.

Political Correctness

My problem with Political Correctness is that it doesn’t change how anyone FEELS about anything. It’s merely a set of guidelines about what you’re allowed to say without being scrutinized or considered to be “different” by “the masses”.

Basically, if you’re a winner, so long as you don’t SAY you’re a winner, people sweat you and cheer you on. If you’re a bully, but don’t TELL PEOPLE you’re a bully, or you don’t bully anyone they know personally, that will tell them the story, people sweat you and cheer you on. If you’re a politician and you don’t INFORM ANYONE… well.. other than the pimps that you have to call on your government-issued cell phone in order to have them send you a girl on credit because you still haven’t paid them for the last hooker you ordered… that you’re cheating on your wife that you already have four kids with and she still looks hawt enough that you should be tappin’ THAT and keeping your political career intact, people sweat you and cheer you on.

If a dude is rich, famous and has eight (8) porno chicks on his payroll that he’s currently screwing on a regular basis, I want to hear about that. :D I don’t want him to hide his version of the American Dream. Nobody wins from that. Nobody wins if everybody acts like they’re living the same life. If I drink beer every day and someone else can afford champagne every day and someone else can only afford to drink tap water every day, I want to hear about BOTH of those stories.

If a gal figures out how to get a guy to marry her within 3 months of meeting him, I want to hear about that story, so I can avoid it happening to The Kid! >:D

hahaha That’s another thing. I just reminded myself. What’s up with all the HATING when people refer to themselves in 3rd Person??? :D

Like, suddenly, we’re supposed to be narcissists or something? haha Please! :D

(“we”, meaning people who refer to themselves in third person, not meaning Me, Myself and I)

It’s nice to try to protect people’s feelings and make sure nobody says anything that makes anyone else feel poorly, but what about The News? o_O

If people are so concerned about everyone’s mental stability, how come The News reports nothing but depressing negativity all day and all night? Who’s regulating that? Who’s telling The News they can only report on shiny, happy things from now on?

Nobody. Because television stations are getting pIZaid, is why. So the show must go on, and business is business. If you don’t like it, sanction them.. Sanction them with your army.

The most minuscule advantage that she perceives the next man has over you can completely undermine your chances of getting whatever you wanted from her.

This is why it’s imperative to ACT AS IF everyone else that’s trying to get this gal is better than you are.

The only thing worse than assuming that the next man is equal to you is assuming that you’re better than he is, because you lull yourself to sleep and make his job of pulling *YOUR* girl waaaaaay easier.

Equality

There’s no such thing as Equality when it comes to kickin’ it to chicks. Every one of us is seen as having advantages and disadvantages, depending on what she happens to be looking for at that time.

If she’s looking for an LTR and you’re more attractive but less reliable than the next man… You lose. If she’s looking to get physically ravaged and you seem to be like a pious gentleman… You lose. If she’s looking for independence and you seem to want to control her every move and be informed of her whereabouts at all times… You lose.

So the idea of equality in the dating game is ridiculous. Leave that out of your thinking. You’re better or he’s better. One of the two of you (or BOTH OF YOUSE, if she gets down like that) is gonna get what he wants. It’s imperative that you know what your advantages and disadvantages are over the other suitor(s) that are competing for her hand…. or whatever. >:D

Reality

Realistically, if getting laid actually matters to you, you should be fully aware at all times of how your chances are looking and why they look that way. You should be able to assess yourself, the target chick and your competition and decide how much work you need to put in to finish first in the race.

Once you make that assessment, you might conclude that you’re the clear front-runner and there’s no way in hell you shouldn’t get the rap over these Herbs that are vying for the same chick. This may very well be the absolute truth… Unfortunately, you can’t afford to ease back in the cut because you think you’ve got it like that.

If YOU think you’ve got it like that, your opponents ALSO think you’ve got it like that and you’d best believe they’re going to pull out the stops to undermine your rap and try to pull the girl for themselves.

The fact that they’re hungrier than you are makes them ‘dangerous’ and gives them more abilities than they usually have, naturally. It’s like the proverbial “cornered rat”. Not very dangerous until cornered, and then you’d best protek ya neck! >:D

Psychology

Your accurate understanding of pre-rat-cornering reality will put you at a SERIOUS DISADVANTAGE in the rap game. Realizing that the next man is inferior to you will relax your mind and you won’t be prepared for him to pull out the stops to defeat you and abscond with your chick.

The proper counter to this is to OVERESTIMATE YOUR OPPONENTS… All the time.

Don’t stop at the next man’s clear limitations.. Make up fables and stories about grandiose things he’s achieved and accomplished that he might be able to use to convince the gal she should hook up with him instead of you… Don’t fight the dude you know he is… Fight the dude you create in your mind, who’s like 80 million times better than him, and, in fact, better than YOU when it comes to pulling this particular chick.

That’s how you get “The Eye Of The Tiger” back. That’s how you psych yourself into being HUNGRY instead of cold lampin’ and accepting your spoils of war since you don’t figure there’s any way this dude’s going to be able to defeat your rap to this chick.

If he’s a Herb, convince yourself that he’s a Player.
If he’s broke, convince yourself that he’s rich.
If he doesn’t seem like he puts in any bedroom-work that’s worth mentioning, act like he puts chicks to sleep on a regular basis.
If he doesn’t seem to have class, act like he’s a gentleman from The King’s Court.
If he dresses like a bum, act like he’s showing her pictures of himself in a tux on his smartphone.
If he looks out of shape, assume that he’s actually in FANTASTIC SHAPE and deliberately doesn’t rock fitted/tailored gear so he can spring his body on unsuspecting females if his verbal game doesn’t seal the deal.

Work From The Bottom

Most fighting systems teach you what to do if you’re on an even level with your opponent or you have the upper hand. IMO, the more useful fighting systems teach you what to do when you’re LOSING a fight… What do you do when your opponent punches harder? What do you do when you’ve expended all your energy (gassed out) and you know what to do, but can’t execute the moves? What do you do when the fight goes to the ground and your standup skillz are currently worthless?

This is the benefit you receive from doing the psych work and pretending that your opponent has a better chance of pulling the chick than you do. You learn to keep your mind clear and do your best job under circumstances where you don’t actually believe you’re going to defeat the next man.

Not only does this help you win this particular scenario, but when you end up in a situation where the next man actually DOES trump you in areas that are important to the gal in question, you’re used to working from the bottom and pulling out the win.

The last thing you want to think is “I’m finished.. I can’t win this. :(“.. In fact, you *NEVER* want to think that… You want to think “He’s currently winning, but until he physically removes her from my presence, I still have a shot at this!”.

My experience with working from the bottom doesn’t come from being challenged by outsiders, but rather from hanging out with dudes that had better raps, presentation & skillz than I did. You were pretty much doomed from the giddyap, if, say, you were the 3rd or 4th most likely dude in the crew you’re hanging out with to attract a chick. Every time you ran into girls, you had to HOPE that a) there were more than three of them, and b) you were interested in the 4th-or-worse most attractive chick because you knew damned well that you were going to be trumped by three of your homies for the better-looking gals.

In fact.. You could even be trumped by WAY LESSER DUDES, depending on whether their particular style was more appealing to a gal than yours… In one memorable situation, I met a gal that I thought was good-enough-looking and a nice person and I had thrown my hat in the ring at the same time that a guy we were hanging out with did. I saw her gravitating towards his style, and TOTALLY not as a hater and TOTALLY not to try to undermine his rap, I informed her to her face that dude was a crumb and she really didn’t want to hook up with him… Didn’t matter.. She was sweating him, so she gave it up, he didn’t use condoms, she got pregnant within like a month, and he stopped accepting her phone calls.

Did I care about that?.. No. She was dumb enough to fall for the Okey-Doke and the dude was smooth enough to pull it off. The spoils of war go to the victors. My hat’s off to him… Not for being a DEADBEAT MOTHER******, but for arriving on the battlefield prepared to win and pulling it off even though I was then and am now “the better man”.

Value

Your studies and training come in handy when you really ARE the underdog and have to figure out how you’re going to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Every once in a while, all the other guys are 6’1″ when you’re 5’9″…
Every once in a while, all the other guys own yachts and you don’t even own an inflatable pool.
Every once in a while, all the guys are rockin’ stylish suits and you showed up in a t-shirt.
Every once in a while, all the guys are hipsters and everything you know about their culture you learned from watching “The Burg”.

These are the times when you need to be able to remain calm and properly assess which qualities and abilities of yours will allow you to bypass the next man’s clear advantage.

I didn’t pull the chick (that the next man got pregnant and dumped within the span of 60 days) because I knew damned well that I was better than him and I *ASSUMED* that would be obvious to her as well. I arrived with ZERO game plan and his style summarily defeated mine. I couldn’t believe she was that stupid, but she was. I even told her to her face what was going to happen before it happened and she still let it happen to her.

Properly strategized and executed tactics will usually defeat what “should” happen. It’s like they say in MMA or Boxing.. If you leave it in the hands of the judges, you’re a fool.

Finish the fight. If you think you outboxed him or got more takedowns, the judges might still give the decision to the other guy. The only way to make sure that they don’t is to decisively end the fight without letting them give their opinion about which one of you did a better job today.

The best way to finish is to be WORRIED ABOUT the next man’s abilities. If you’re honestly not concerned about them, FAKE IT!.. Convince yourself that he’s a threat to your rap so you stay sharp, stay on-point and have the best chance of pulling the chick and having a good night instead of fiddling while Rome burns.

People always want to know how to make money with social media.

The problem is that social media doesn’t make money FOR you. Social media ENABLES YOU to make money…. maybe.

Everybody wants to know how their sales are going to increase once they hire you to create a website or set them up with a presence on Facebook or Twitter.

In Fact… Your sales are NOT going to increase unless a) YOU know what to do with your own internet presence, or b) you HIRE SOMEONE ELSE that knows what they’re doing to handle that aspect of your business for you.

Buying Trophies

In contemplating social media strategies, you have to see yourself as the owner of a race car team and your goal is to win races, thus receiving trophies.

As the owner, you have to decide where you’re going to allocate your budget (money) so you achieve your desired outcome.

If you’re racing in a legitimate organization, you can’t BUY TROPHIES. If you could buy trophies, your competition would be able to buy them too and there would be no reason to run any of the actual races.

Similarly, in social media, you can’t BUY SUCCESS. If you could, everybody would pay some money, receive a positive ROI and there would be no need for professionals at any point of the process.

Unfortunately, this is how a lot of people sell social media to you. They know you know less than they do, so they give you useless tidbits of information and charge you handsomely for “consulting” with them. This is usually the best thing for them to do because if they told you what you REALLY needed to do to be successful with social media, THEY wouldn’t get very much of your money because most of them don’t’ have any of the technical skills necessary to actually DO any of that process for you.

Winning Races

In reality, you have to actually WIN RACES to receive trophies.

What’s the process involved in doing that? o_O

You get the trophy by winning the race

You win the race by finishing in first place

You finish the race by starting the race (driving)

You enter the race by having something to drive (a car)

You have a car and a driver because you spent MONEY on them

As you can see, you spend your money ENABLING yourself to potentially win. You don’t spend money directly on the WIN.

What does this look like in social media strategy?

The part that people TELL YOU is that you need a website and a Facebook account and a Twitter account. The part that they TELL YOU is that you want people to follow you and the more the merrier.

Budgeting Maintenance

The part that they DON’T TELL YOU is that they’re selling you a car, not a trophy. They’re selling you the ability to MAYBE win.. POSSIBLY…

They also don’t tell you that this isn’t a car show, it’s a race. If it were a car show, you could bring your car to the venue and potentially win a prize for “prettiest car”, or “best paint job”, or “best-built engine”… Being that this is a RACE, it means that you need a DRIVER. o_O

If you’ve already spent money on the car (website), someone has to drive it (maintain your presence). That’s either going to be YOU or someone you hire to maintain your online presence for you.

If you’re going to do it yourself, you’re going to have to spend HOURS each week interacting with customers and potential clients, reading blog posts, writing blog posts, updating your inventory on your site, searching the internet for positive and negative references to your company, checking your statistics to see which items and pages are the most popular and which aren’t doing well, reading and replying to emails, paying attention to the endless flow of twitter posts from the thousands of people you “followed” because some idiot told you to, fielding phone calls and returning voicemails from people that got your number from your website, reading and intelligently replying to comments you receive on your blog, keeping spam and other dumb comments out of your comment section, reading up on the latest technologies for maintaining your presence, spending time on trial & error with new and potentially exciting products…

Thanks For The Money

THIS is what they don’t tell you. They’re’ just like “Give me your money. Here’s your website. Peacebeyotch! :D”. This is why so many people have garbage internet presences, because nobody told them that after you make a blog, you have to populate it and constantly update it. Nobody told them that if you make a site where you’re selling products on the internet, you THEN have to spend your time advertising your product or you need to hire someone else to do that for you.

Nobody told them that if you make a Facebook page and then you don’t actively participate in conversations, you don’t build any rapport and you don’t make any sales. Nobody told them that they needed to participate in conversations that are important to OTHER PEOPLE and not just those that revolve around your being able to sell something and get some money.

Nobody told them that if you follow 3,000 people on Twitter, you’re going to have so many updates that you can’t possibly read all of them, much less contemplate them and reply to them. Guess what? :D .. If you can’t read everything from the 3,000 people you’re following, the people that are following 60,000 people don’t see what YOU WROTE either. o_O

Are You Qualified?

Even if you tried to maintain your own internet presence, how good are you at doing that? How good are you at socializing? How good are you at holding conversations with people? How good are you at SPELLING and GRAMMAR? HAHAHA How good are you at knowing which posts to weigh in on and which to leave alone? How good are you at finding out where people are talking about you or your company, what they’re saying and how you can respond to them? How much time do you have to monitor the internet and respond quickly, giving yourself the appearance of caring as opposed to the appearance of someone that built a car that they don’t know how to drive or built a store that they don’t have time to stock and maintain?

So.. Next time you’re thinking about incorporating social media into your business strategy, recognize that you have to budget not only to BUILD your site, but also to MAINTAIN it.

If you don’t have money to pay someone to maintain your site, either it’s not going to get done or you’re going to have to pay yourself to do it during time that you could have spent billing clients and making your money back.

Either way, nobody’s going to hand you a trophy because you got a website built or because you made a Facebook Fan Page or a Twitter account. That’s not where the work ends. That’s where the work starts.
